Dirty poses threads. And porn.
Joined from some /b/ thread talking about this super nerdy kid who was trying to shittalk his sister's music or writing (can't remember which) on these forums. Thread (and /b/ thread) went into getting his information and messaging his sister about the posts he made in the thread talking shit about her. The OP of the thread eventually edited all of his posts to say nice things about his sister's work and how everyone should support her. I can't remember the username or the old threads but I remember someone found a picture of him and his ugly-ass girlfriend and posted that. I had joined to post stupid "For the win" comments and stuff. Eventually forgot about Facepunch until I found the TF2 section looking for some community to read about TF2 things.
I started to play GMod and came here for help with something, maybe ragdolls. After some time learned more about FP and that it's not only about GMod, so here I am, being here 4th year now. Ah, the 2011, when I was only posting in Mass Effect thread.. good times.
I joined because of the popular TF2 section.
Joined because of DOTA 2 and I was looking for a big big forum with a good community to post in.
My friend told me to once we started playing Garry's Mod when I was like 13 or something.
I can't really remember an exact reason why I joined but I did try to make some Gmod comics and this forum had a lot info and resources. I was also a huge fan of TF2 and FP had their own servers and pretty cool community.
I had a friend who told me I might enjoy the forum. After lurking for a few weeks, I joined up. He was not wrong.
hot girls thread
Some RP server that had the option to ragdollize your character (for some reason I liked the idea of throwing my guy off buildings) wanted you to login with your FP username and would let you in if your name had permission to test. I just saw the login and assumed it was an FP account - joined, didn't work but after my initial disappointment I used this place to find out about cool maps and mods, and talk about other games. Fast forward, I haven't played Gmod in years but I made a new account here (mostly because my old name was incredibly moronic) and mostly frequent the valve and general games section because there seems to be interest in a number of games I like
hot girls thread
Best reason to join
GMod 9 possibly, I don't quite remember.
Stumbled upon a Gmod sonic thread and stayed.
On my first account it was for Gmod and Toribash. Then I forgot the username for that one and made this one for TF2
I like cults.
I've been lurking for too long.
Because I did.
So people over the internet can think im funny. It's an ongoing process
I joined because of the Pyromania update for TF2 a year and a half ago. I was really hyped and I happened to stumble across the M.U.S. thread. Stayed ever since.
Back when I was obsessed with a PERP server, I started up an account on Facepunch deliberately to make fun of Garry. I recall that I was upset that he implemented an animation that puts your hand up to your ear when you speak over the microphone, and back then I felt he should've prioritized way more important things. The way I said it was horrendous, though, and not a lot of people were happy about it. It was dumb, and my account became dormant after that for about a year, I believe. Soon, I ended up back on Facepunch with interests in Lua and Linux.
I don't specifically remember the reason, but it has something to do with gmod 9 back in the days.
I realized my life would never amount to anything i dont remember if thats before or after joining
Joined to advertise a shitty gmod video I made [editline]7th January 2014[/editline] 4 years ago to this day.
I joined because FPSBanana went to shit.
I can't even remember why I joined it just kinda happened and I've repressed that memory
I was at school and had nothing better to do.

I think it was the Garry's Mod: Mythbusters. Earliest post that I can find with my old account http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=287910&p=6474485&viewfull=1#post6474485
Registered to get models for Pirate Ship Wars because I was sick and tired of seeing purple checkboards. I decided not to become a really active member until 2010.
I joined when the gmod website stopped hosting photo contests.
