Hey guys lets go drifting and not wear seat-belts. :downs:

hahahah smaaaaaart :v:
I use them
But indeed it's damn annoying when they get tight and you can't push them because the car is speeding up
I feel if i don't wear a seatbelt then all cars are going to crash into me, i know it's not going to happen but why not think like that.
That one time you don't wear your seatbelt is that one time someone crashes into you.
It's illegal to drive without a seatbelt on here anyway.
Because they are stupid.
I've been used to wearing a seat belt for all of my life. It just feels weird without one.
I don't mind people not wearing them though, it's none of my business.
Also, for the seat belt cutting problem you don't have to use a knife, there's special seat belt cutters.

They won't stab out your eyes when flying around the car and they're easier to use. They don't cost a lot either.

Apparently if you're in the front seat and the person behind you isn't wearing a seatbelt, during a crash they can apparently kill the person in front of them by hitting the seat.
It just became your business

Seats are built to actually withstand heavy shit flying into them from behind. That is, in the cars i use to drive.

Fair enough. In my country if you're the driver and there are passengers not wearing a seatbelt and a policeman see's, you get a fine.
So might aswell make everyone safe :)

Well here the person not wearing the seatbelt gets to pay 40€ here so whatever.
I wear my seat belt because Volvos make an annoying clicking sound and flash a light on the dashboard if you don't....It's fixable, but not wearing my seat belt would result in a fine anyways.
Because, If they get in a accident and the car is on fire, They don't have to worry about taking their seat belt off.
I can't imagine they'd still be alive if they got into an accident that was so severe the car burst into flames if they weren't wearing a seatbelt.
Because they think they're too cool for seatbelts.

This is never the case stop acting like it is.
I don't care if people don't have seatbelts on.
However, I hate it when the damn driver refuses to wear one and it's BEEP BEEP FUCKING BEEP the whole ride.
Recently wrote a script for my local council. I was given to a film company and has been turned into a 20 minute film to be sold on DVD and distributed throughout the country. I got to assist direct and star with somebody else from my Drama class.
The script is about the dangers of not wearing a seatbelt and not just the immediate effects it can have but how it can ruin lives. I'll let you all know when it's out.
I can't understand it though. On a bus there are NO seatbelts yet there's more of a distance to go flying, causing for more damage?

Depending where you hit that can actually happen very fast and many people have already been burned alive in their car. The seatbelt was often their smallest problem though.
Call it Darwinism in action. Those who are too dumb to wear a belt will die more often and not reproduce as much. Eventually we won't have as many dumb people.
They don't understand that when they crash they can fly through the window killing someone.
No seatbelt is illegal in Germany.
I normally don't in a bus, but I always do in a car.
I do wear my seatbelt.
I'm too cool for seatbelts.
I put my seatbelt on by default, without thinking. It should be ingrained in this generation's minds just to put it on automatically. I remember when I was in school, they would have a police officer come and instruct the students on seatbelt safety, and there were always commercials about it.
Kids don't wear seatbelts 'cause they're trying to be cool or something. They'll be cool alright, on a slab in a morgue. There is absolutely no reason what so ever not to wear it.

And that's what killed richard.
How does that head on collision even work? I mean was the British guy in America and was driving on the wrong side of the road, or was the American in Britain and driving on the wrong side of the road? I think that's the real issue.
Who cares? Let natural selection in today's society do its job.
I wear a setbelt all the time but I must say it feels better when you don't wear one.
Here in Jersey, I'm pretty sure not wearing a seatbelt is second offense (you can get a ticket for it, but you can't get pulled over for it, you get pulled over for something else and they also notice that you had no seatbelt on)

Does your dad have a pitchfork?
Seatbelts are so uncool. You've got to be a lil' pussy to wear one.
I'm tough, and cool. I don't need all this safety preparation because I've got my shit down like a true bro.
(I think that's the logic that a lot of young kids have.. which is pretty dumb, but they deserve to die in car crashes, so I support their flawed logic)
