It's a recasting of Marquis De Sade's story - just the setting is changed to world war 2. 4 priests lock up a load of kids, all supervised by the military, in a castle (I think). They're tortured, starved, etc. In one particularly controversial scene, a priest (I think they are priests? It's been a long time) shits on the floor and forces a naked teenage girl to eat it. [sp]In fact, she can either eat that, or eat a cake filled with glass, and she chooses the cake, consequently dying from her throat being slashed.[/sp]
I've just seen a clip where they gather up the shit from the chamber pots, and serve it up for dinner, I nearly threw up.

I wiki'd it
"Lena fantasizes about how she's binding all of her previous 23 lovers to a tree, shooting Börje with a rifle and finally cut his penis off."
:byodood:
I saw Cannibal Holocaust back when somebody made the thread about Saló.
It wasn't that bad at all, I laughed a bunch at it.
The reason Clockwork Orange was banned in England wasn't because of it's content, but because people started acting out what they saw. I don't think a lot of these movies should be here, considering they're from a while back when things were a lot "tamer".
Plus The HUMAN CENTIPEDE doesn't count as banned because it was in Australia where everything gets banned.
House of 1000 corpes
It's really good
was that movie even banned anywhere?
It's a ridiculously hilarious movie.
You can categorize it under the "It's so bad, it's good" Genre.

What the fuck did I just watch?
thats not horrendous at all... freakish but not as outrageous as people claim it to be
Fantastic movie.
That Cannibal Holocaust thing is FUCKED UP...
But it was banned.

Why the fuck would you choose [sp]eating a cake full of glass over a pile of shit? Seriously I'd rather eat shit than die (although probably dying of subsequent e.coli related infection).[/sp]

If you watch the movie, I can guarantee[sp]if you were in the position of those involved, you would want to die and (I think they all get killed off 1 by 1 at the end anyway)[/sp]
