Fair enough but it it's their weed that's being damn rude, they can roll how they want, if you don't want to have what is quite standard over here of an ordinary joint then don't.

when I see people rolling or preppin' a bowl and they get their cig's pack out. I stop them and ask them if they piss in their beers.
they say: wtf no (most of the time)
and I explain them that tobaco in my weed is like piss in my beer.
Dude what? How can you be so rude about things like that, you've never heard of a spliff? Ever punched a bowl with kief and tobacco mixed consistently? Higher than a kite, kid
Dude what? How can you be so rude about things like that, you've never heard of a spliff? Ever punched a bowl with kief and tobacco mixed consistently? Higher than a kite, kid
I would pass. Won't ever smoke cigs. My whole family is full of chain smokers and it makes me sick.
My favorite type of joint is actually half pot, half tobacco and a generous amount of hash. No tobacco results a joint that burns like shit and, IMO, tastes waay too much like pot.
Edit: actually a little more pot than tobacco is optimal, not sure if it's 2/3rds or 3/5ths pot though.
Dude, that's fucking awesome. I'm really considering getting into making electronic music (not sure which kind it would be though).
Anyone know where to start? I don't want to get any hardware before I'm sure it's something for me, so some free/cheap software is what I'm looking for.
I also generally dislike tutorials that aren't fundamental, that is I don't like being taught one specific thing that I can't combine with/turn into something else that is my own.
That kid doesn't actually produce music as far as I'm aware, and he does get far too much credit for just mixing some music and dancing along to it. No disrespect to him, but I don't know how he has millions of views on youtube.
If you want to start making electronic music, it's usually a good idea to be certain of the genre(s) you want to create, and have a strong understanding of the different aspects and structure of said genres, what defines it as that genre, and mainly, it's got to make people move. A good understanding in musical theory is also very helpful, although not vital - you'll pick things up as you work on your music, but already knowing about notes, chord progression, and decent knowledge of musical structure is a big bonus.
You do not want to blow any money on hardware - whether it's effects units, compressors, EQs, synthesizers or groove machines, well not until you are confident and well established in making music. Decent hardware will cost you a LOT of money, however unless you are able to make massive tunes that will be played to thousands of people through fat sound systems, there isn't no point. Software is always necessary when making music, and you'll need to chose between different programs - I suggest you look at Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase, Reason, and FL Studio. All of these programs have their pros and their cons, and whatever ANYONE says about a certain program, take it as a pinch of salt, because they wont be masters of every single program, and what they say is bias to the program they use, without proper knowledge of the capabilities of other software - it's only their opinions.
I think you can get free trials of some of that software, however I'm not too sure. It might be a good idea just to search around, watch videos and see what you think might suite you best. Then you just gotta make your music. The simplest way to do this (in my opinion) is to get down a simple structure consisting of a simple drum pattern, that you can come back to later to improve upon, and make a few chordal patterns and melodies with different instruments and synthesisers, then go from there, creating your music in regard of what genre you were trying to make. Oh yeah, and make sure you use the right BPM too (house ~125, dubstep ~140, drum and bass ~175)
And keep in mind that everything I've said is just my views and opinions, so you shouldn't listen exactly to everything I say, but it might help you get an idea of how to get started

Not a clue where to start if i'm honest. If you start though make sure you got some heavy drops man! i live for em!

Just because you smoke a spliff doesn't mean you have to start smoking
It's like me with drinking. All my uncles/aunts are alcoholics, and given the choice I'd have alcohol abolished. Thus, I rarely drink, but yesterday I went all out and had fun. It doesn't mean I'm going to become an alcoholic, I just enjoy it the odd time.
So don't put up a wall of hate for something that you've never tried [sp]but don't start smoking, I do and its horrible. But soooooo nice after a sesh[/sp]
also i've started rolling up on the cover of my dr dre's 'the chronic' LP. Winning.
also i've started winning.
Dude you pretty much roll joints identical to mine! Cutters, silver kings and roach too :D
No tobacco results a joint that burns like shit and, IMO, tastes waay too much like pot.

I don't ever smoke tobacco and my joints burn fine every time.
I play the piano, so the musical aspect shouldn't be a problem. Not so sure about the genre part though. First off, I don't play piano for other people's sake, and I don't want to do that with electronic music either. If other people like it, awesome, but if they don't, having fun is and should be my reason to start in the first place. I want to learn how to turn whatever's in my head into reality, what genre it belongs to is secondary at best. If you don't think people will like it, you're probably right (what do I know), but that's not the point of it.
But could you elaborate on how to get started? I realize I could just google it, but the results are usually ... very narrow. Like, "how to make your first beat in this specific program" or something like that. Just a few recommendations on what software to start with would be enough
goddamn the charlie sheen and twitter shit is getting old.

Rather than "Q_Q //////// Wristss", decide to go on a T-break and lower your tolerance until you can re-up again. It feels a lot better than anguishing over how bad it is to experience life sober. Go do shit rather than sitting around mourning your lack of bud.

Oh god, I seriously underestimated the awesomeness of the original cast, I wonder if there's any footage of the whole show anywhere

Now all I need to do is confirm a desired length of stay and then I'll be set for when the time comes to apply.
