roller coaster tycoon world
it isn't even out yet and I'm disappointed
Zoo Tycoon for XBONE/360
You killed a dynasty, you sons of bitches
Hotline Miami 2
Might get better when they get rid of all the control and technical errors.
Playstation All Stars
The game lacked soul, from the UI to gameplay it all felt uninspired and flat.
I was excited about Witcher for a short time, then I bought it and soon regretted it afterwards
Far Cry 2
Nothing can top that.
Mass Effect 3 was actually fun up until the half way mark with the space ninja. Far Cry 2 just got tiring after the 3rd mission.
Probably going to get some flak for this, but when Binding of Isaac: Rebirth came out, I was very disappointed at the music and sound design in the game. Mechanically the game is a flat out upgrade and the graphics aren't bad either (except when you fire scythes that are 4x in size, the pixelation is real) but I really hate how a lot of the enemies sound in the game. Music wasn't terrible but nowhere near the original game's levels.
Was the game a disappointment? No. But Iit didn't live up to the expectations I had for it. I even had to mute the ingame sound for a good while until I got used to it.
Brink
I was so pumped for that game, but it felt unfinished.

I really don't like how, unlike Super Smash Bros., all the stage themes don't stay consistent because they keep crossing over into different PlayStation games.
Supreme Commander 2
Supreme Commander was a respectable, solid and incredible game because of its massive, unprecedented scale mixed with its level of graphics and destruction. Experimentals took a considerable chunk of the match to build, could take on whole armies and massively change the way the battle went, while there would a lot of fun in watching a horde of deathbots with railguns prowl over a wide plain and destroy everything as well. The campaign plot was rich, interesting and the missions were challenging.
SC2 had a shitty, uncompelling campaign. The battles were pitiful compared to those in SC, entire hordes fall apart like nothing and Experimentals felt weak and unsatisfying. The tier system being ripped out took away the majority of the depth of the game and made it repetitive. The research system was garbage and the idiot that decided your ground combat units should get mobile AA launchers on their backs later in the game should be shot.
Oh, and what was the most immediately unforgivable thing for me was how I completed the UEF campaign in one day, and lost all my progress the next time I loaded the game up.

After feeling let down from it, I can't help but think that Bethesda should simply re-release Enemy Territory: Quake Wars with Steamworks replacing the Activision activation servers for obvious reasons.
Oh also Mirror's Edge. Don't get me wrong, I was stoked to play it, but I beat it the first day I got it, it was so short. I just kinda felt like... "is that it?"
Super Monday Night Combat. They hastily put the game out of beta (some think that this was on accident) and then did a tf2 promo that only brought people who didn't want to play the game in the first place. After a few disappointing updates Uber outright abandoned the game to kick start Planetary Annhilation.
I was really looking forward to The Order: 1886. Considering the game was focusing on its cinematic properties, I was really disappointed with the story. The story had tons of nonsensical character motivations and decisions that only served as plot conveniences. The story ends on one of the most bullshit sequel bait endings I've seen in a long while, and it leaves so many plot threads unresolved. The game has tons of other problems too: Complely boring enemy encounters, TONS of unnecessary QTEs and cutscenes, etc. There was so much potential for the universe they created and they completely squandered it.
Destiny.
Oh, and FFXIV v1.

Haven't seen footage of it. What made it so bad?
On topic: Assassin's Creed 3
Biggest one for me is Watch_Dogs, that shit was hyped to the ends of the universe. Turned out to be a huge disappoinment.
Medal of Honor: Warfighter. It's still an ok game, but it just kind of felt 'empty', and it was really buggy and clunky.
RollerCoaster Tycoon 3
If we look at the game itself, it's mechanically superior to the previous games in and somehow it still fails to catch my attention the same way RCT1 does.

Saints Row 4
The missions were repetitive, the story was stupid, and don't get me wrong, I am fine with Wacky and when I saw the trailer for SR4 I was okay with it, but aliens does not fit Saints Row.
People say Saints Row 3 sucks as it takes Saints Row and makes it Wacky, I thought it was perfectly fine. Sure it was wacky, but it wasn't THAT wacky.
Ever since I played Saints Row 4...I just haven't been able to look at the franchise the same.
Also Dead Rising 3, fuck that shit.
Brown and Grey color filter, horrible performance and stupid story.
I just can't play it, I can't st and it.
Okay well it's not THAT bad, but I don't consider it Dead Rising, I pre-ordered it and played it on release.
The last time I played it was on the 25th of September last year.
I have not played it since and, I don't plan to play it in the future. And that is fine by me.
Dead Rising 1, 2 Case Zero, 2, Case West and Off The Record is enough for me.
Dead Rising 3 went downhill when they put the horrible filter on and even admitted they were aiming for the CoD demographic.

OH and The Walking Dead Game Season 2.
The story was horrible.
I can't put it in the words.
It's forgettable, boring and a waste of money.
Just like the previous 2 I mentioned, I disown it.
hotline miami 2
it was supposed to be goty :(

The new Zoo Tycoon had a lot of innovations from the previous iterations, like more interactability with the animals and interesting UI designs. What made it so bad was the fact that you couldn't build your own free form zoo. That was what made the previous games so good. Not only that, but the fact that the new game was exclusive to console left it without modability, which was a major staple to the entire community.
Besides, Frontier made the fatal mistake of not porting it to PC, which was where the series started in the first place.

I enjoyed the game but it's meat was not worth the initial price. Plus the promotion for it was too much, they should have included the potato bundle for what was asked for.
Arma 3, Men of War Assault Squad 2, Saints Row 2.
And Hotline Miami 2 in certain aspects, especially level design.
Postal III. I was so anxious about playing it back since its wee days of development, but then years of delay pissed me off, including how it got released in Russia before America.
Then it turns out the game wasn't very good. Ran like shit on my computer and there was no free-roaming to boot.
That's because the game was given to a B-studio to be worked on, they released it in an extremely unfinished state, and they wont even give RWS the source code so they can fix it. They also don't get any of the profit from it either, iirc.

Ontopic Borderlands 2. I'd played through and fucking loved BL1, then BL2 came out and I felt like their focus shifted.

Akella also made their own Postal 2 expansion where you didn't play as The Dude, but rather their original character (from what I've translated) Corkscrew. It doesn't look like a very good mod either.
Skyward Sword.

But even that was before they were a B-team.
They gave it to one group in Akella, then something happened within because of the shit Russian economy, then they passed it along to a significantly shittier group within Akella, and because of all this we have the piece of shit that is P3.
