About the WE vs. TM argument:
Here's the way I see it
If you're looking just to get something to stuff in a holster and will go bang on the rare occasion you need it - get the WE.
If you want a pistol that will be very durable, accurate and always reliable, buy the TM. Everything aout the TM is superior to the WE. Even the plastic on the TM is tougher than WE's metal.
This is not to say you can't make a WE into a very durable accurate, reliable, and all around nice pistol, but by the time you've done that you've already spent as much, if not more than you would have on the TM.
Basically it all comes down to price and your idea of worth. You have to decide if it's worth the risk to buy the WE, or conversely, if you think it's worth it to spend the extra $70 on the better pistol.
On this topic, can you give me the list of stuff to make the WE into a very durable, accurate, reliable, and all around nice pistol? :v:
Can anyone recommend a Smart Charger for under $100?
I just bought one off aex just now for $28
I'll see if it works well or something
At my field I keep my stuff where the gear tech is since hes always there and never leaves until the day is over, and if he does leave he locks up my stuff for me and I know the combonation to his locker for when i need my stuff.

Wow dude really
Japan isnt a nuclear wasteland, FYI.

I use 2 of those to charge all my airsoft and RC batteries. Only downside is it can only do one pack at a time.
It can charge pretty much anything you throw at it. I even recharged non rechargeable AA batteries with it (not recommended, dangerous)
Get an infrared thermometer gun while your at it or find the temperature probe accessory that you can get with it (about $6).
Also while Im on the subject, try to avoid charging off a car battery no matter how tempting when you have batteries die on the field.
But BBs rattle around a lot and make a lot of noise if you carry em on you. And they can get dirty in the field.
I have a paintball pod I fill with BBs, and then wad a tissue or paper towel in the top. The paper stops it from rattling, and the pod is very convenient to load my 60's box from. I carry a ton of stuff onto the field in my backpack, usually gas, ammo, water, repair parts in case anything breaks, medical supplies (just in case someone gets hurt), sometimes spare guns other people can't carry, or miscellaneous items. Last game I hauled a 10lb thermos full of hot chocolate so we could have refreshment in between rounds. It's a fair bit of weight, but after carrying the M60 I just don't care anymore.

Does anybody know of any non-rifle AEG / AEP's that are two tone and under or around £100?
I was going to buy a Well R4 MP7 but it's being sold at £91 , apparently the Galaxy MP7 is better an I saw one for ~£70 , however it wasn't two tone.
Does anybody know of a site that is selling one , or if not , something similar?
if you want a 2 tone paint job:

This is why I love you. I'll probably buy the first two at some point since the third link doesn't list what power the recoil and hammer spring are at. The new body will have to come at a waaaaaaaaay later date
Honestly, should I just get the overpriced Well R4?

For a historical impression, right? That's the thing that kind of kills historical impressions for me; as cool as they are, it's hard to work within the constraints of wha's realistic without spending all my money.

If you're not opposed to it you could get the slide and frame from HK. They're only about $100 there so after shipping you'd save about $20 and probably get faster than from Evike. Or for the same price as the one on Evike you could get one that comes with a nice barrel too.

You can do a historical impression p. cheap if you know where to find good substitues for the expensive parts. Hell, my German loadout would have cost at least $1000 if I got all nice repros and original stuff. I found/knew of some good substitutes for major parts and put it together for like $200

Yeah for my Nam loadout. I want a lot of stuff for it, I'll get it all in due time. But it's hard to find a tropical rucksack, and when you do find them they're pricey as hell, and I'm jobless due to personal reasons right now. I need a tropical or a lightweight ruck. I guess an ARVN pack would work too but I don't really want that since they were pretty much designed for... ARVN forces, not so much US. I could get a Medium ALICE pack, but that would be farb. It looks quite similar though. I'm a stickler for historical accuracy.

Hey Jat,
My KWA SR-7 is getting some parts because it's been having a bitchfit lately (normal wear and breakage, i'm it's third owner)
I want to redo the compression and make it as good as humanly possible.
I want to buy a new piston head (this broke), and a new piston, I have my eyes set on a Prommy bucking (gun came with one but was worn out by .30's.).
Could you recommend some good compression parts (Piston head, Piston, Cylinder head combos)?
Thanks.

My AK also has a weird thing going on, where it seems like the motor needs to almost rev up to fire it on the first shot and then it's good until I stop firing it for a while.
I'm not going for ROF on my AK, just torque, any suggestions for that, if the motor really is the problem?
Small story before question: Saturday as i was playing CQB alone the building was filled up heavily so the players were split up into alpha team and beta team. So alpha team goes up to play a game, and for fun i brought my springer 1911 that i had since i was 9 to see how many kills i could get, and left my KWA USP compact on the table (no lockers). And as alpha team was playing (including me), some kid comes up to my table, hides my gun out of the cameras sight and strips my USP of my internals (dick move of that kid) and leaves. It was getting late (around 7:30-8:00) when most kids were leaving, so he managed to sneak away and go home with what was basically my gun (he left the externals as to make me think nothing happened). The game stopped and i walked back into my room to pick up my USP and fill up the mags so i could continue playing. As soon as i lift it up, i feel the weight difference, open the gun up, and yell very loud when i find out what happened. Now the kid is long gone and i am basically left with an empty shell of a gun. I sold it to one of my friends for very cheap and am now looking for a replacement gun. I've been meaning to post this since saturday as my problem happened on that day, but anyway... What company/companies should i go to for these guns: CZ75, P226, USP. I mostly want a CZ75 as my uncle who lives in europe has one from when he was in the czechoslovakian military and i love the contours and feel of it.
I would beat the ever-living shit out of that kid if that happened to me. That is a horrible thing to do, did he do it to get the parts or because "it would be funny lol"?

It's an AGM. Although I completely redid the internals.
That $200 on the loadout is excluding the gun and parts and I already had the helmet so that saved some money. I probably spent about another $250 on the gun in total

I wish I was better at airsmithing, I'm a complete fucktard when it comes to these things. Every time I open up a gun of mine, I break something else and make it worse because I get very easily frustrated, and I don't have a clear work surface. My room is a fucking mess, I need like a table to work on so I don't lose parts.

I wish airsoft guns were a lot cheaper here, I'm too afraid of opening my guns up and fucking them up extremely bad, since each gun I have is basically a huge investment.
Might take apart my AKM though once I get a new AK to replace that one
That sucks for you guys. Tinkering with my guns is my favorite part of having them. It's so much more fun to me to buy a cheap clone gun and upgrade it than to just go buy a high end one.
