erdl is radically different from woodland too if you mean erdl lime
I've really heard mixed arguments about Woodland vs ACU though. But the masses say on a regular/all-around basis, Woodland generally works better than the brighter/lighter ACU. Can anyone confirm this?
I've hated ACU for a while since so many children like to wear it and call themselves marines, but I'm thinking about this logically-- I already have a set of Woodland BDUs, and I'm kind of looking to buy another set. Since I'm going to Taiwan this summer, I'll probably get ERDL for my Taiwanese Army loadout, but for my next set, I'm honestly not sure what to buy.
I'm not getting Flora, unless I see it for cheap in Taiwan. Flecktarn is a possibility, and I'm too poor for Multicam. So I was wondering if I should just get the ERDL and leave it at that, or go ahead and get ACU or another pattern.
I'd vote for ERDL.
erdl is more of a collector item too unless its taiwanese erdl they have
but acu and woodland both have different uses in different terrains
acu can work functionally in woodlands but in order for it to be effective its way different than you'd find woodland being effective
whats your area like. acu dyed tan works really well and looks like a poor mans ucp-d almost.

depends on type of erdl too, lime and brown are made for 2 different environments, the deep jungle, or vietnamese highlands
I know the ERDL I find in Taiwan would be whatever version the Taiwanese Army uses, so it would be this kind of ERDL:

If I can find it though, I'd definitely get a Taiwanese Digital pattern:

Imo the digital is kinda ugly. That ERDL,however, looks bad ass.

Yeah, the first two digital patterns are pretty generic, while the last is super grey, almost ACU-esque. But since they're rare, I'd get them anyway because I'm a Taiwan fanboy :v:
The acu-esque one is really cool. The others remind me of that digital camo that nerf uses on their ~tactical gear~

I carry my hydro bladder in the main pocket. BBs, silicone spray, funnel for my high cap (no speed loader yet lol) and other stuff in the other pockets.
Thanks guys, I think I'll go with the butt pack since I already have a camelback I use.
Also, buttpack lol
question from a new airsofter, I plan on getting this
and am not sure what type of gas would be best for it, propane, red gas or green gas
You would use propane/green gas.

Green gas is just propane with the silicone already mixed in.
Anyone got any reccomendations for a headset?
I'd like ones that are compatible with a MICH helmet, so something along the lines of a comtac replica.
Comtac replicas are the only ones i know of by name but i've seen different styles and brands which would also work but can't find anywhere that actually sells anything.
Don't get that pistol! Unless you're only using it for backyard stuff, its not very good. A friend of mine had it and even with his ridiculous tech skills he couldn't make it very good. While it may be a sweet Samurai Edge, I can verify that its not very good. You'd be much better off with a KJW M9, or saving for the Tokyo Marui Samurai Edge.
If I spray a blue gun black and want to make it look worn away, do I need to do a grey layer first?
If I spray a blue gun black and want to make it look worn away, do I need to do a grey layer first?
Yes. But if I were you, I'd strip the blue paint off instead of painting over it.
How do I strip the paint off? And what paint do I use?
How do I strip the paint off? And what paint do I use?
Sandpaper or something like that, don't do it sloppy. Clean the dust off with water, let it dry. Coat with paint of your choice, several layers. Beat the shit out of it with the sandpaper again.
Done!

Get a chemical paint stripper for metal and then use Krylon Ultra Flat
Get a chemical paint stripper for metal and then use Krylon Ultra Flat
Yeah, that would work as well :v:
Sandpaper gives a nice weathered surface tho
will this: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=9428
fit on this: http://www.airsplat.com/Items/ERM-JLS-E03-FN.htm
https://www.easupplies.com/KRYLON-K07911000-Spray-Paint-p/pa17e5.htm
I can only find Satin and Gloss sprays by krylon. I don't know what Satin is and I know I don't want gloss so is Flat Black the right thing?

but i don't think so, g&g and jls are completely different guns
How the hell do I get my G&P handguard open? The delta ring is stiff as hell and I cant do it with 1 hand, also this things supposedly wired to the rear but the wires are all the way in the bottom of the buffer tube, so I need to split the recievers to get the wires out but I have no Idea how to do that, could anyone help??
why can't you just take a screwdriver or something and pull the wires out
why can't you just take a screwdriver or something and pull the wires out
Is it safe to do that? I dont wanna pinch the wires or anything.

Even IF you found a JLS F2000 it's fucking terrible and not worth the money.
