This is thanks to shared hosting. Someone is probably running a script that uses a ton of CPU.
I'm going to look into switching to media temple for hosting, hosting on the cloud seems better.
oh wow, you managed to make the images not hog up so much space and loading time! i applaud you sir. i might actually keep them on now
IS there anyway to search for items that can be shipped worldwide? Since I live in Sweden.
Or maybe we Swedes could get our own. http://www.eim.ebay.se/ lists all the items avalible for shipping to Sweden.
Somebody need a new laptop CPU?

Nifty
I'm gonna looooooove this
I've been strolling through phones and I really haven't found anything for a really mind blowing cheap price.
You need to be able to filter the buy it now price. That would solve everything.
alright, big update
I rewrote a large portion of the codebase. Now instead of finding ebay auctions through keyword searches I can fetch all ebay items.
category support has been added, so you can search within some categories or remove the ones you don't like
Before I had 10,000 items listed for USA... now I'm not even done scraping USA and it has 100,000 newbie auctions in the database that end in the next two days.
Now if you have buy it now and a price tag under search tags it will pertain to the buy it now price and not the bid price.
I want to make love to you.

Damn Australia!
I've seen some dumb stuff on Ebay, but not anywhere near the level of Craigslist.
You can make fucktons of money buy buying these for cheap and reselling them at normal prices.
