What is all this about child-diddling on a thread about my birthday? :byodood: For shame.
Oh snap, I just remembered that I'm allowed to fly again. On future meet-ups, I could probably fly out, do the thing, and fly back for pretty darn cheap! My airfield only charges per hour when the engine is running and fuel-ups are reimbursed. I can fly to Chicago in about two hours, keep the plane for a day or so, and then fly back and only have to pay for four hours' rent. You can prolly count me in on future meet-ups, my schedule just got way more manageable and convenient. Mine's on January 11th, and I got that every year. Getting one bundle of socks for two separate holidays always left me feeling cheated when I was a kid. One year I actually got half a pack of socks at Christmas, and then the other half when my birthday rolled around.
whoa, wait, you have a pilot's license? Awesome :buddy: Would you head straight to O'Hare, or is it cheaper/more practical to fly to a smaller private strip and take a train the rest of the way? There's a strip within a short drive away from my place, I could always pick ya up and hit a train from there.

Landing at major airports is too scary for a fresh guy like me, and I have a sneaking suspicion that traffic controllers get annoyed when they have to work a Cessna into the pattern. But I could totally get out there! I flew to Springfield and back all the time for cross-country flight hours, and Chicago would only be another hour or so down the line.

my family didn't differentiate the two, and my birthday's at least a few weeks off from christmas (the 7th), so I'd get a 'happy birthday' card with 'merry christmas' inside and a five dollar gift card to Best Buy. :colbert: also, been trying to look up airports nearby. this one looks best- Campbell Airport in Grayslake -it's near a train station and everything. There's a ton of 'airports' that show up when I search the map, though, and most of them appear to be in the middle of a field or a subdivision. :raise:
Here good sir, I was fortunate enough to notice it whilst browsing that forum and then bring it here, so essentially thanks to me he now wears said title with pride. [img_thumb]http://img524.imageshack.us/img524/9166/pedoy.png[/img_thumb]
Wow that really doesn't put you in a good light especially with what you were saying in the confessions thread about couragedog hahahahaha
What is all this about child-diddling on a thread about my birthday? :byodood: For shame.
Oh well we were planning on diddling you for your birthday, didn't Dai tell you? :v: [editline]2nd December 2010[/editline]
whoa, wait, you have a pilot's license? That's a lot closer to Brookfield. Actually I drive past it on my way to the cicero station. So I could pick him up from there on the way to the train. Did you even read anything I said in the thread or did your Holier than Thou gland just kick right in and fill your head with shit? Saying that Couragedog is hot, but that I would not do her, is not paedophilic. Couragedog is postpubescent and she is attractive. You have to admit that. Saying that she is attractive does not make me a paedophile. Might I ask what that makes everyone else that was commenting on her, then? The people that were saying they'd "tear that shit up" and "tap that so hard"? That seems creepier to me than "She's hot as fuck"
Wow that really doesn't put you in a good light especially with what you were saying in the confessions thread about couragedog hahahahaha
I like how you hand out month bans for derailing threads and then start derailing them yourself...
How about we just ignore the whole thing and keep talking about my birthday. :buddy: :smith:
Are you going to supply alcohol? Dai refuses :saddowns:
How about we just ignore the whole thing and keep talking about my birthday. :buddy: :smith:
Happy birthday Dalndox! :buddy:
Are you going to supply alcohol? Dai refuses :saddowns:
If Dai refuses, then you're not getting anything out of me. I'm more of a stickler about that than he is, trust me. We said the same thing during the last meet-up. [editline]2nd December 2010[/editline]
Happy birthday Dalndox! :buddy:
Thanks! [sp]Though it's still a bit of a ways away[/sp]:buddy: Also, if you come to this meet-up you won't have to worry about getting motion sick. :v:
Bah. Spoilsports.
I'll be there, probably.
Bah. Spoilsports.
The thing is, we're not doing this to sit on our asses and get drunk. Dai and I rarely get to hang out with large groups of people, and it's more fun to do so in a place you don't get to visit often. At the last meet-up, we went to Six Flags and a had a great time. How old are you, anyway?
I never said that was what we were going to do but nothing is wrong with relaxing with one or two drinks :v: [sp]18[/sp]
I would assume you know someone else who is over 21 and able to supply us with booze? If you do I think it might be a good idea to wait till after it's all over so we don't get busted by the rent-a-cops/puke on any animals.
Nope, I don't. AFAIK the only people over 21 that are coming are Daijitsu, Dalndox, and maybe Dai's girlfriend. I dunno how old she is. I have a thing of vodka at my apartment, but it's just a shitty bottle of shitty smirnoff or something.

It's based solely on principle. [sp]Also, we don't really have any other friends we hang out with regularly who are over 21, so you're SOL.[/sp]
I'm not coming.
Aw how come Naut?
Hey Dalndox you're okay with us mugging you and leaving you bleeding on the platform on your birthday right?
i would go, but i might not be able to pull off a second fp meeting in a year maybe my other brother would go with his friends and its three days away from my bday hmmmmmmm [editline]3rd December 2010[/editline] i need some advice here
You should go
Hey Dalndox you're okay with us mugging you and leaving you bleeding on the platform on your birthday right?
As long as you leave me a birthday cake, sure.
As long as you leave me a birthday cake, sure.
that'll just cause the hobos to come running from their dark corners and beat you up for it
Don't forget the rape. [editline]2nd December 2010[/editline] Anyway, no seriously though BDA the midway airport would be your best bet if you're going to this meetup. It's about 1/4 to 1/3 of the way from my place to the cicero station so I could pick you up there and then drive you the rest of the way.
I'll figure out the route and whatnot when I go. None of the aviation maps I have cover the Chicago area, so I'd have to sit down before I made the trip and plot everything out. It's not like I'd be able to make the meet-up on the 30th anyway, so I've got plenty of time to get everything figured out and relearn all the crap I've forgotten. I haven't flown since August of '09. I need some time to retrain!
Oh flying is easy just stick the plane on a highway and let her rip :v:
