My new Springfield GI.
Obligatory pen through trigger guard.
Nice table centerpiece.
Thanks, but it's not mine haha. I was at my Dad's house, he wanted to take the guns out for a day at the range and I thought I'd snap a quick picture.

That's a nice fucking 1911, I'm tired of seeing over-done, silver 1911's with rails. I love this one.

Thanks. I felt the same way, just wanted a regular model. I thought that picture turned out pretty good too for a little Kodak point-n-shoot.

Im very ashamed to say that the Stoeger double defense is actually really cool looking IMO
I don't care for double barrel shotguns really. They are much more expensive than a pump action shotgun.

They have a certain classiness that makes them worth it though.

Depends, are you buying Baikals or Berettas?
If I actually cared about skeet and trap, I would invest in an over-under shotgun then. But $2,000 for two shots is not my style. I think of classy as in a bolt action rifle that has a wooden stock and a nice scope. Nothing tacticool.

Stoegers are generally less than $500. So it's reasonably affordable.

Takes a little getting used to, but they're okay.
Got my purdy firearms out to test my new lens

Is the Ruger Mini 14 good? I want to get a decent rifle that is reliable, but at a good price. AR's are not what I'm looking for.

They are pretty inaccurate for what they are, but they certainly are reliable and really easy to customize.
What do you want to use it for?

Probably a pretty good choice if long range accuracy isn't a big deal to you.
If I wanted long range accuracy, I would buy a rifle chambered for 7mm Remington Magnum rounds.
What gun should I buy next?
What gun should I buy next?
vague question
what do you want it for

Errmm...Have you by any chance shot a rifle in that caliber?
Coming from someone who owns and shoots one, they're a pretty pricey one to shoot. And they're pretty hard on the recoil. But that said though, boy do they make a BANG.

I should probably note that I use the term "long range" somewhat liberally :v:
As in, if you want to shoot over 100 yards, you probably don't want a mini-14
I finally got to shoot my dads M55 in .17 Remington, great gun, if it weren't for that stupendous caliber it's in.
I always wanted one of these
