Yeah well I did. I'm rather unhappy at the moment but I don't think I can do anything.
I took it to a guy I've never been to before. I gave it to him yesterday and he told me to come back today. Before he would even touch it he made me sign a forum about the legality of him possessing it and shite. One of the things was if the weapon was 'lost or damaged' I would be entitled for 200$ compensation and nothing more.
Well, today I went by, the fatfuck went into the back room for five minutes, gruelingly told me my revolver was 'misplaced', gave me a check for 200$ and told me to leave. And because I signed that damn forum I don't think I can do much else than avoid him
I wouldve gotten the hell out of there when he started pushing the form. At least have shopped around a bit before hand. Sounds to me like he thinks its something valuable that he wants to sell off for a chunk of change. Id say the sooner you file a report the better, he'll probably want to get rid of it quick. Also check some local gun sales(craigslist, etc) in case it turns up

Yeah, I'm sure you can fight it though. You can't legally sign yourself out of the law regarding theft. Has he filed a police report for robbery? If not, falls on him.

My Christmas tree.
Had a nice chat with the OPD (local police)
Turns out this has happened before, but every time they investigate they can't find anything worth arresting the guy over. He's been sued like 20 times but as far as I know he's won every case.
He also reported it stolen that morning. The teller I talked with mentioned something about the 'awfully high loss rate' or something. Oddly enough also every gun he 'lost' was 60 years old or more
Also talked with the ATF, if the gun turns up it'll be given back to me but that's looking a little hinky at this point, the guy I talked to said most cases guns like that are parted out and you can't trace the parts since there's no serial number on most.
Merry fucking Christmas to me

Like I said before at least it wasn't a good gun.
It'd suck having a gunsmith steal something that's actually expensive

Yeah, but it still pisses me off.
What I don't get is as far as I know, the gun sells for ~140, he gave me 200 for it.
I either missed something or he ain't too bright

For your sake, I'll guess the latter.

That fact that it is a weapon of Jewish design makes it that much more awesome :v:

That's why it doesn't fire.
It's for lighting up the rooms under the floor.

Sounds like a load of fuck to me. Bastard probably sold it to some dick and told you he lost it.... amazing how many people aren't always reputable.
Im sure they have massive recoil springs to actuate that monster of a slide, but that can also throw your accuracy off pretty badly.
With some consideration and online reading I can pretty much come to the conclusion that they are pretty primitive and cheap but are at least better than not having a gun at all.

I still say you would do way better with a Bulgarian Makarov for the price though
Watch Nutnfancy's review of the Hi-point pistol. It's heavy because the gun is a blow back operated.

The fact that it is not made correctly makes it that much less awesome :saddowns:

the UZI was designed by a Jew, what the fuck are you talking about
You know what else was designed by a Jew?

If only I had $3000, I'd buy one... Surprisingly you can hunt with these in Canada.
Tavors are p. sweet.

I'm not even sure what half of that does.
I found this pistol in a trunk I bought at an estate sale (the trunk was locked an there wasn't a key)
It's in pretty shit shape but it's kinda interesting. Though I can't figure out how to get the chamber out.
The thumb tab is broken off but it still locks back and fires. It's a single-action. I think it was converted into a starting/prop pistol because there's a little tab welded into the tip of the barrel.
Mondial is mostly replicas and pellet/BB guns. I have a "Roger" which looks like a Luger, but it's actually based off a .22 target pistol based off a Luger and fires BB's. It's internal parts are all kinds of fucked up, and I attempted to cast an aluminum piece that connects the trigger to the valve release and safety, but after the first shot the CO2 jet that came out hit the piece and it broke.
But holy fuck is that little son of a bitch powerful.
Yeah well I did. I'm rather unhappy at the moment but I don't think I can do anything.
Him losing it doesn't seem like much of a loss, considering the total shit shape it was in and the fact that it probably wasn't a functional firearm in the first place. You got more than it was worth.
High-points are basically made out of crap metal(basically the same stuff they use to make theater guns or gas pistols), The size of the components are the thing which keeps the gun from exploding. They're okay guns considering how cheap they are, However most of the C9s have a faulty design which causes some guns just malfunction when feeding ammunation. If you're getting one make sure to file the feeding ramp a bit or modify the magazine lips.
Yes and no, in regards to the crap metal, but you could argue the same thing for Glocks in that they use polymer. The zamak frames they use are, technically, stronger than steel but zamak is a zinc-aluminum alloy, which isn't good for springs and therefore isn't good for multiple peaks in tensile stress. (like what happens in a semi-automatic firearm) If there is a failure, it will be a graceful one and the metal will crack in a certain spot rather than entirely break off. Not my ideal choice for a metal, but it's cheap and light.
I'm not even sure what half of that does.
I think the part on the left expels bullets, but this might require further research.

I need two of those. One to use and the other to gaze at from across the room in suggestive ways.
Ill not bother arguing my point.

Those look so much more sexy with some wear and tear. The soldiers here in Israel use them, and they are sexy as fuck.
They look so fucking short and awkward. What's with the really odd placement of the handguard?
It's a bullpup, it's probably in no more odd of a position than most guns, but the mechanism for the gun is mostly in the back. Most of that gun is just fancy plastic/metal to cover the barrel and obviously elongated trigger mechanism.
I don't get the whole BULLPUP IS BESTEST-craze.
It allows for similar, or longer, barrel lengths in a gun that overall will protrude less from the body, as it takes previously wasted space and makes use of it, the space where the stock always was. That area becomes the mechanism area, and it saves space and size on the gun, allowing the gun to seem, or even be, overall smaller than others but have similar barrel lengths to other same-calibre guns allowing it to get similar ballistics.

Wish I could rate this both agree and informational.
I envy you europeans and americans who can own guns.
I always wanted to shoot and own a bolt action rifle
