Really? Thanks for telling me, I couldn't see it myself!
As he referred to it as a coachgun, I corrected him.
So I decided I don't need a freaking ton of rail space on my gun if I'm just using a VFG and the occasional flashlight.
Bought a MOE hand guard and the hardware I need to mount it on my AR, and the smith is going to install it for me tomorrow. Will have an after pic then....

Holy shit that hand guard looks fucking amazing.
Magpul MOE handguard, similar styling to what is on the ACR :)

Some are actually quite cool, This one is a short barreled Ithaca 37 with a built in front handle.

Its small enough to conceal and incredibly deadly at close range.
incredibly deadly at close range.
More like just as deadly as any other 12ga shotgun

Size can make a difference, especially when you can hide it in your coat.

That was most likely the reason, he stashed it under the driver's seat in his car.

Gun show this weekend. Cool, overpriced guns, run by religious rednecks.

Gun shows are usually the best places to buy guns / ammo.

Depends, sometimes they like to overprice everything...
A lot of the things from the last show I was at were overpriced. $6 for a 50 round brick of CCI .22LR. The optics were also overpriced. The only good reason to go to the show, is to do the raffles and to get full-auto guns, silencers, or a foreign gun that is hard to import or get.

Oh god, do want. How much did you spend on that beauty?
On the butts this weekend for the All Army GPMG Shoot, the Defense Forces magazine "An Cosantóir" is even going to be there, should be some fun, even if I am only down in the butts.

Way more than I'd care to think...
Picked this up the other day. Colt Police Positive Special. I think it's from 1969.

Grandfather owns a badass Iver Johnson Cadet 55-A. It's a silly little 8-round .22 revolver that's been fired less than a hundred times since it's manufacturing. The same exact revolver model used to assassinate Robert Kennedy.
Note this is a pic I found on Google.

I have a revolver fetish.
I love revolvers so much.
I've wanted a Colt SAA for yeaaaars, so hopefully I'll have enough cash to get one within a month or two.
I don't see the appeal of old SAs to be honest, I'd rather get an S&W or Taurus :effort:
I just like the look of older revolvers and the potential history they can hold. I can't say I care for the way newer revolvers look, even though I'm sure they shoot a lot better.
Alright, a friend and I aren't gun nuts in any plane, but he brought up something I've never heard of that some of you may of. It's an attachment that has(his words here) been put on the end of police and military weapons. It's a light that flickers with a certain intensity that causes headaches/distortion. I know it isn't gun related per-say, but perhaps you guys know of it.
Help?

That is not an Ithaca 37, the Ithaca 37 has the ejection port on the bottom. That looks more like a Remington 870 cut down and modded by Serbu, who I think is based in Florida. They take Mossbergs and 870s typically and do that to them.

It's an experimental weapon, designed to disorient and disable suspects. I think it was designed to stop prison fights...it's become a popular feature, though, and is available on many standard pistol/rifle lights, like the Streamlight TLR-1s

I think it's just a powerful flashlight with a strobe function as that would slightly make the target having a wtf moment before he can react properly, thus giving the cops a slight moment more time to deal with the suspect.
But there are such devices that audiobased in work, but as attachments, I've never heard of.
i think i should make a shotgun with a little button on it and it makes it so i can pump it every time i enter a room like in the movies w/o ejecting a shell, and then when you let go of the button you can fire and eject shells
I can see it being possible, but I can't see it being useful aside for making the stereotypical racking sound from a shotgun that is somewhat scary in situations.

It'd be the coolest shotgun.
