Thankfully that's an M1927 that's modded to full auto.
I own an M1927, probably the same model they built that off of judging by the furniture. Or what's left of it.
Just discovered 2 boxes of Carl Gustav SMG magazines in my shed.
Luger '38 Officer's edition.

Dat foot.
I had a shell casing stuck in the chamber of my Mosin-Nagant. I tried pushing it out with a wooden dowel but that got stuck to. We ended up getting the casing out by drilling a screw into it and tapping it out and to get the dowel out we put a blank in and shot it out.

Theres this thing below the barrel of your mosin, its called a steel cleaning rod. Use it for that kind of stuff. Also, make sure you spray some carb cleaner into the bore to get the cosmoline out.
You can also polish the bore which will help even more: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDngd6LWvzY&feature=fvwrel
Dat trigger dicipline.

Found some footage from a live fire forest drill (pretty much what all swedes do when passing through a forest).

You can see that about 10 seconds passes before they notice the forest.

Saw someone do that to a Lee Enfield with a POS synthetic stock that didn't even fit it properly. I died a bit inside that day.
I like your non-bastardized AK, join the club.
Still, bloody fine weapon.
as with the big box of Gustav mags, I have also came into ownership of a number of 30 round FN Fal magazines and drill rifles (made of wood), along with a number of Arges model 72 hand grenades, some drill (Blue colored) others possibly live.

Only one way to find out, right? :v:
Got to head out and fire a Remington 597 today, at first the mags got jammed on the last shot (the mag didn't raise to feed it properly, the spring jammed) but after a few loads they were feeding fine. One's still a bit stiff, and doesn't seem to like loading more than 9 shots, the other loads 10 pretty well. Had a bit of a problem with the trigger, that fixed itself somehow too, and I got the scope on it bang-on centred at 50m, I was shooting the staples holding a piece of paper up out by the end of the day.

Oh and you got banned cause you said jew.
You can say jewelry and get banned.
Moot has a hard on for Israel so jew is an auto ban. Yes I'm serious.
So, what do you guys think of the H&K M27 IAR (in terms of practicality) thats replacing M249s for the Marine Corps?
Personally I think it was an expensive mistake, GMPGs are used instead of automatic rifles for a reason, namely high volume and rate of suppressive fire.

Betcha you didn't know it could be STANAG mag fed as well!

I think the M249 looked really nice.
It's German and you know Germans make good stuff!
I think it's stupid to replace an open-bolt LMG that's proven reliable instead of some another dumb M4 clone, and thus having to carry a lot of fuck-heavy magazines instead of a few pouches of belts.
[editline]27th June 2011[/editline]
(It's an H&K though so it's okay!)[/QThey are replacing the M249 because of weight. The M249 weighs almost 30 pounds unloaded. An assault rifle with a drum mag weighs less. The marine corp. just wants a lighter support weapon for the soldiers to carry when in the field or in a close quarters, urban environment.
It still doesn't make any sense to replace an LMG/GMPG with an AR-type rifle.
We did trials for the AUG heavy barrel, to compliment our standard rifles (And to save money, although they would never admit it), we stuck with the FN MAG, it's a waste of money to invest in a 5.56mm infantry support weapon.
Anyway, here is the rest of the crap I ended up with:

The hand grenades appear to be a mix of Deactivated and drill, so they are pretty safe, I made sure of that. the rest is rather dangerous. The parachute flares especially, save them for Halloween or something.
Other then that It's a nice assortment of stuff.
Holy fuck, where, how and how much?
It still doesn't make sense to replace a suppressive fire weapon with one that uses 30 rd mags...
I'm Irish.
Any backstory then?
They'll apparently be given drum mags
but as we all know, in the end they'll be running around with 30- and 20-round ones.
No drum mags:
"M27 gunners will be equipped with around 22 of the 30-round magazines already in use with the M16 and M4 Carbine. 22 magazines will approximate the prescribed individual combat load of a M249 SAW gunner, and although the M27 gunner is not expected to carry all 22 magazines, they are provided to the units so that a determination can be made at the unit level on what the individual combat load should look like."
In all honesty, if the GMPG gunner has to clear a house, you're doing it wrong. If they want to issue a lighter, more accurate support weapon to the troops, give them more Mk. 14 EBRs, nothing says stfu like well placed 7.62.
