3 $ PER ROUND? WHAT IS THIS SORCERY [editline]3rd July 2011[/editline] I'd pay that price for a PTRS rifle round, not fucking 7,62x54r. This is just outrageous.
What i meant is that the projectiles are $50 for 100 copper jacketed and $50 for 500 full lead.
Lucky, the only legal 7.62 ammo in CA where I am costs $1 per round.
Woah how do you know where I live? [editline]1st July 2011[/editline] Wait, it's on my profile. [editline]1st July 2011[/editline] Illinois is cool, don't make fun of me.
It was the FOID thing...I figured it was either Illinois or maybe Massachusetts, and took a guess

Are century arms FAL's any good? My dad and I are thinking about getting a semi auto .308 for $1000 or under, but I hear century arms is hit and miss. Or should we save for something like a .308 saiga or AR-10? Either that or a 5.45x39 rifle, or maybe a Moisn Nagant.
So I've been getting into guns recently and wanted to go to a range and was wondering how much it costs to shoot and if I need any kind of license to go.
Guys I need to take a shit but there's a huge ass spider camping my fucking toilet what gun do you recommend for the task
Guys I need to take a shit but there's a huge ass spider camping my fucking toilet what gun do you recommend for the task
155mm howitzer
Guys I need to take a shit but there's a huge ass spider camping my fucking toilet what gun do you recommend for the task
None. You give him food and train him to kill. You makes sure he lives a happy life, finds a mate and reproduce, then you adopt the babies and give them the same treatment. Then you build a large slingshot cannon and fire your spider assassins at your enemies.
So I've been getting into guns recently and wanted to go to a range and was wondering how much it costs to shoot and if I need any kind of license to go.
You'd need a form of identification, other than that, nope. Unless you're in one of the silly states. Then God help you :v:

FALs are cool, but good luck getting a good one for under $1000. Personally, I would go for an M14/M1A, but again, generally they are $1000 and up; don't buy it from Fulton Armory, they are crap, go Springfield Armory. Also, if you want an Mk. 14 EBR, you can get one for $1500 or you can buy the chassis afterwards for $700-800. 5.45x39 AKs are between $500-$800 on gunbroker and gunsamerica. Good Mosins are $125, the M44s are over $300 now and aren't worth it unless you're jonesin' for a carbine. Can't say about the Saiga or AR-10, not really a fan of either; I'd get an M14 or Mk. 14 EBR before either
.22lr shotshells
he wants to kill it not piss it off
Ya know what's funny and hurts to see. An ad in a monthly gun publication that advertises a tactical katana. Yes, it was a tactical katana ad. I nearly burst out laughing at that,
Holy shit, I saw that too. Honestly laughed my ass off.
Alright, my father is considering getting a FOID card, and I wanted my first firearm to be a Mosin. Which variant do you guys think is the best? I was looking at either a 91/30 or an M44, but leaning more to the 91/30 because I've always liked full-sized better than carbine.
I love my 91/30. My knowledge on the M44 is limited, but I dont think there is much functionally different about them(besides the folding bayonet). It's a personal choice I guess. On a random note, when I got my Nagant, my dad got all the gear to go along with it. But my sling was missing one of the dogears, so I couldn't attach it. Fast forward to about 4 days ago, I just said Fuck It. Zip ties, fuck yeah.
Yeah, I've deducted it down to a 91/30 since I can't find an M44 that's cheaper or same in price as the 91/30 I was looking at.
I'd also like to get a single action revolver down the road. What would you guys recommend for that?
I'd also like to get a single action revolver down the road. What would you guys recommend for that?
Colt Single Action Army
Colt Single Action Army
I've shot my dad's friend's and I really liked it.
If you do get the M44 you will have problems with the sight. Because they sight them with a side bayonet on the bullet will always go to the right of you intended target when shooting with out it.
Weren't the 91/30s sighted in with the bayonet attached as well?
I don't believe so... they were a long rifle designed for shooting at a group a good distant off but the M44 was build for Stalingrad and Berlin, Close in fighting where the bayonet would always be needed.
I am pretty sure I read that somewhere..
That was the m44, and I sort of think that might just be a myth.
Definitely going with the 91/30. Now just for that FOID card.
That was the m44, and I sort of think that might just be a myth.
It's not a myth. I notice a good 10cm off put at 100m.
I'd also like to get a single action revolver down the road. What would you guys recommend for that?
If you can't find any of the olde classic Colt stuff Ruger makes some very solid single actions and if you can find them, Freedom Arms SA's are stunning in terms of quality (they're mostly chambered in .454 Casull). Me personally if I was going for a SA it would be a Super Blackhawk in 44 Magnum.
It's not a myth. I notice a good 10cm off put at 100m.
I'd love to test this one, but for the life of me I can't get my bayonet mounted. It wont slide over the front site properly It always gets stuck there.
Uh, what? It won't slide in? Try driving the little pin out and check for debris/chunks of cosmoline/dirt inside
I dont think that pin has any intention of moving. If it helps, its not the matched bayonet.
Could somebody give me some leads on where to find cheap shotgun ammo for target shooting? Not skeet, just shooting at a paper target. I bought some defensive buckshot, but those are about a dollar a pop, I need something cheaper. If all else fails at least I have my 10/22 :V
