where can i get a good, original K98 Mauser?
Gun stores.
Original as in matching parts German?
That'd cost like $600+.
Russian captured mismatch part ones go for like $300+
I dont want no russian shit
I dont want no russian shit
Russian weapons are the most reliable. Enjoy your constant jamming with your AR-15.
My parents will buy me a Rem 870 Express Super Mag or Silma Lappland when I take my hunting proficiency test and get my license

careful dude, someone might take you seriously
careful dude, someone might take you seriously
I was being serious. Try dipping your AR in sand and see if it can shoot. I shot my Mosin while still covered in packing grease and it shot fine.

I bet it'll shoot just fine.

I'm a hardcore AK fan too, but the AR-15 platform is really nice. Anyone who has shot one will probably say its a great gun, I know I really liked it. Love my Mosin too.
I was being serious. Try dipping your AR in sand and see if it can shoot. I shot my Mosin while still covered in packing grease and it shot fine.
AK platform and AR platform are about equal as far as jamming goes, but you have to clean an AR more often. As long as it's clean, it'll fire much more accurate than an AK platform weapon. I prefer AK platform weapons, but I am in no way biased.
Everybody who says that the AK never ever jams should have one explode in their hands as a punishment.

You can't compare things like that.
Everybody who says that the AK never ever jams should have one explode in their hands as a punishment.
Draco doesn't count.
Everything counts if it goes for firearms.

Oh my god you are dumb.
Great way to turn your Mosin into a pipe bomb, durp lets just shoot it while it's completely clogged with cosmoline.
[editline]20th August 2011[/editline]
Also the AK vs AR debate is fucking stupid.
Both guns can be just as accurate as the other and just as reliable.

So i was like
I need to know what the fuck bump firing is
found out
So how jelly/mad would my dad be if i do that with the 10/22 next month when we go camping

Cool?
And there's nothing wrong with the AR, I'd take it over an AK any day. It's a more comfortable platform and nine times out of ten it's more accurate.

There is no debate, theres just faze being a massively uneducated and obviously inexperienced poster.

harder to do with .22's cause there isn't much recoil.
He'd probably projectile vomit in the air like a fountain

Okay wow, I tried to give you a way out without making yourself look like an ass but okay sing your song.
what the fuck
in other news, since I'll get an 870 for "free" I'm going to buy another gun in the same price range, except it will be an O/U shotgun or a plinker
Should I look into a Silma Lappland O/U or Ruger 10/22 Standard or CZ 455 Standard?
Cant say much about the first or last but the Ruger 10/22 is a fantastic little gun and is fun as hell to shoot.
Not to mention that its pretty much infinitely customizable.

gotta get dat bmf activator
Sometimes it'll be a bit stiff, especially breaks, when cycling/opening it. The trigger tends to be fine.
I got to fire so many shotguns today, oh my God. Most of them were break, but I also got to fire a Browning Auto 5 and a S&W 1000.
