That's...interesting. And I thought Maryland's 20 round mag limit law was stupid.
...although we live by the constitution in America (not for much longer,) which supposedly lets anyone bear arms, of any kind. But now we have illegal guns in America.
We've had illegal guns since 1968.
We've had illegal guns since 1968.
Yep. It's bullshit.
Lol, you said Colt Pythons and wanting them for cheap. Good luck. They run for a thousand or more. Big guns too. You just kill a guy just by pistol whipping him with it. If it is ever cheaper than 1k then the gun must be in terrible shape or is totally useless.
Shit, I really love those guns. :saddowns:
Damn, I'd pay a shitload for one of those G33/40 carbine rifles.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT GIMME ONE
That's expensive.
I applaud Beretta's effort, but I can't help but think they are missing the concept...

PX4 is still a nice gun.
Filled out my FFL paperwork for this today: http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/229/products_id/60428
Very solid weapon. Picatinny rail comes attached, synthetic stock and foregrip and the weapon is brand new. But somehow it is covered in packing grease.
Now starts the waiting period. I get it September 13th. I'll post pics then.
Jesus an 11 day waiting period?
Jesus an 11 day waiting period?
Weekends and a holiday. 7 business days for regulated weapons in Maryland.

I got my red dot sight today! NcStar, from ak47accessories.com. VERY solidly built, only $45 bucks, but definately not for airsoft. Can't wait to try it out.

I said that even before he bought it.
I hate how hard it is to find a private seller for handguns. You see, I'm old enough to legally purchase a handgun in a private transaction, but I'm not allowed to purchase over the internet or through, say, a store.
It's extremely frustrating.
I feel you man. Luckily for me I made a friend who really liked my rifle so I traded him for a 1911. I found it to be a good deal because otherwise I would have had to have waited 2 more years before I could buy one myself.

Even trading is illegal. You have to file the state police paperwork for ANY restricted weapon, whether it's free or costs a million dollars.
I want to sell my EOTech and buy an Aimpoint, but I also want a Sig P229!
I want to sell my EOTech and buy an Aimpoint, but I also want a Sig P229!
Saw a P229 when I was doing my paperwork. Almost got it, but I can't buy two regulated weapons in 30 days...

As much as I love (love love love) Sig, I can't bring myself to like the P229's design. It's just ugly to me :(
I don't really like the look of the sig, feels great, just doesn't look good to me. I do like the USP-C, Glock, and PX4, if you can understand my style based on that...
I find that glocks look horrible, for some reason.
What really pisses me off about New York State is to obtain a pistol permit after acceptance, you must own a pistol, but in order to handle a pistol in any gun store you must present your pistol permit.
So essentially you have to purchase a $200-$1000 weapon without feeling it. In my opinion you NEED to feel the weapon you intend to make yours.

Too boxy.

Fuck the P229, P226 is the shit. The SEALs use it.
new sigs QC is fairly poor
seems like a used west german 226 would be a better choice

You just made me realize this. I was wondering what I found so incredibly horrible about glocks.
Fuck the P229, P226 is the shit. The SEALs use it.
I like the 226, but it's just so damn big. The 229 is a bit smaller, which would make it easier to carry.

228?
And honestly, their 220 in .45 is one of the smoothest pistols I've ever fired. I fell in love with the damn thing immediately after the first round.
I like the 226 over the 229 because I like big guns, but once you hit the size of a Desert Eagle, you're too far and are pushing the obnoxious boundary.
I like the Mk.23.
It's fucking expensive, goddamn, for the price of it I could get a Deagle instead, however when the guy at the gun shop has nothing good to say about the Deagle, it's probably not a very good buy. IMO, it's expensive and one of the most impractical guns I've ever seen, I'm not planning on buying one unless I win the lottery or something, I'd rather buy an old Luger for the price of a Deagle.
