That's a whole loota fucking WHY.
It looks like the mag's in the wrong way 'round, too. And why put a scope on it if you're going to saw off the barrel, isn't it going to shoot like a pile of shit now?
Bayonet, bigass mag, sawn off barrel and... A scope?
While looking for pictures of painted SKS rifles, I stumbled upon this 10/22
Why
Sawed off barrel, magazine inserted backwards, some sort of weird stock, making the scope useless... Is that an SKS bayonet? I love this picture, but it needs more rails.

Yes, it is form SKS, I read that from the post that had this... thing.
Actually, it looks like one of those double mags, that you can turn around.

I present you also a bolt-action AK.
This gun actually makes plenty of sense. The tribal regions do build automatic AK rifles chambered in full power cartridges such as 8mm Mauser but a bolt action chambered in such a cartridge would be easier to build, lighter to carry and safer to shoot. Any operator familiar with the AK would be comfortable with its ergonomics. In fact, in the United States and Europe, AR-15s can be purchased as bolt action rifles. Many competition shooters use bolt action rifles that are much inspired by the AR-15 ergonomics.
Loving the gas tube that serves no purpose other than to hold the rear sight.
The magazine isnt inserted backwards, butlercreek mags can be snapped together
Still looking for a good break-action revolver with hammer and still not having any luck.
I keep finding these stupid looking "Lemon" revolvers. The concept of a revolver without a cock-able hammer confuses me.
Hunting what?
people, or 1980's gangsters that inhabit a post apocalyptic 1997 New York.
Hunting what?
My mom's friend's husband goes hunting a lot, he usually uses a .308 or .30-06, but some of his buddies use revolvers with scopes. They usually go deer hunting and he makes venison sausages which are really good.
It's not ugly.
It's a disgrace to Mikhail Kalashnikov himself.
I hope to whatever deity you pray to (if you are religious) that you're in California or some other state with screwed up weapons laws, because there is NO excuse for a thumbhole stock and tacky tapco furniture on an AK whatsoever. Also, if you're going to get a HI-SPEED-TACTICAL red dot sight, for the love of god don't get the cheapest one you can find, perhaps you should learn about the concept of cheekweld beforehand.
Anyway, if you don't understand this already, I think your AK is ugly.
To be honest with you man if it fires bullets at the person I want it to and does the job the way it's supposed to I really don't think the aesthetics mind. It could made of cheesecake for all I care so long as it does the job I bought one for. If he bought one with with that kind of furniture that's his choice. The whole philosophy behind an Ak was practicality and affordablilty unless he's a thick cunt who payed a fuckload for one with a red dot sight and a fancy black stock. I've thrown at least 3 Ak's into a river/WheelyBin for less then 200 euro.
Its his money, not yours.
Oh, hey, 46 new posts, what'd I miss?
[AK bitch fight]
:what:
I saw a scope on a Taurus revolver recently. Why do people do that shit?
I've never understood why everyone gets all up in arms about certain firearm preferences.
Now, when I get my AK, it will be in wood with a standard PSO-1, but thats just my personal preference. I like the idea that my AK is as close to a military spec AK that I can get (inb4 loltaticool/militarywannabe). Its just a cool idea that appeals to me. If faze wants to put a $60 red dot on his AK, let him, because if it holds zero and doesn't break thats a pretty good fucking deal.
Its kind of like caliber wars. 45ACP vs .40 vs 9mm. I just don't understand it. All three of those calibers are fun to shoot, and each has its ups and downs. I don't understand how someone can hate a caliber so much to the point where they wouldn't dare touch a handgun chambered in anything but .45, .40 or 9mm.
I suppose its kind of like cars. Some people will only swear by a certain car maker, and wouldn't dare drive something else. Like my grandfather, who has sworn by Ford for 40 years and won't dare take a step inside any kind of foreign car, especially not a Honda. Even though I don't particularly care for Honda's, I can appreciate them for what they are. A good economy car that will get you from A to B for years on end. Kind of like how I feel about AK vs AR-15. Even though I dislike the look of the AR, and I almost look down on it for its bad reputation with reliability, I still love to shoot it. Its fun, its light and its accurate. What is not to like about that?

That 10/22 looks more like butcher creek
The magazine isnt inserted backwards, butlercreek mags can be snapped together
Why though? It's not that much faster.

Why the fuck are there batteries in this foregrip?
Maybe if someone wanted to mount a flashlight/laser/powered scope?
It's just a handle with a battery in it. Is there some kind of plug for another attachment or something?
So to mount this, I just need a quad rail for the front of the gun?
there's probably an output for wires yes
and yeah, you probably need picatinny rails for it
I presume any standard AK quad rail system will work?
yeah, I assume most of those rails are either picatinny or weaver
funfact: weaver stuff will fit picatinny, but not the other way around.
Yeah I know. Picatinny is the side grooved rail, weaver has the slots in it. I'll get this, and some foregrip: http://www.ak47accessories.com/AIM-Sports-Aluminum-Quad-Rail-Handguard-For-AK47-a-p/aim-mk003q-.htm
thank god you're getting alu rails and not those ugly plastic ones.
Plastic rails are retarded, only morons get those.
So that rail system I just posted is a good deal, just get any foregrip and mount it to the bottom weaver rail and that's it? Hoping that rail system will fit my AK...
well you should make sure, would suck if you got something that only fit X type of gas tube or whatever
How do I find out?
I'd send them a mail
However don't worry too much, the gas tube looks like the standard one. I guess all of them have the same specs considering it's the same mechanism, after all.
Also, is that thumbhole stock removable/replacable?
Get one of those tactic00l collapsible stocks with rails on and a pistol grip. :v:
Yeah the stock foregrip on my AK feels like every other one I've shot. I'll email the website and make sure. Hopefully they know what they're talking about.
The stock...I don't think so. I knew that when I got it though, I honestly like the feel of that stock. When I get my next AK, I want a collapsible AR-15 style stock though.

Does the stock have a solid feeling in it? Judging from your pictures, it looks hollow-y.
Hunting what?
It's an ideal back up gun for dealing with Bears and in certain states which are a bit dumb with their hunting laws, handgun hunting is common mostly in calibers like 44 magnum and 454 casull.
I don't see any real problems tbh.
So I have a question. I want to buy a gun online, however they only accept major credit cards. Being as young as I am, I cannot qualify for a credit card as I have no credit. They also accept certified checks or money orders, but that seems like a hassle.
Is it legal for someone like my father to purchase the rifle and then I pay him for the rifle and he transfers it to me? I understand its illegal to buy a gun for another person, but if I'm paying for it, is that still illegal?
