AR's jam frequently. Do you disagree? This is common fact over several weapons forums I frequent. The AK vs AR dick waving has been going forever, but the AK tends to take precedence.
ARs do not jam when properly maintained. The only jams I have ever experienced in my AR were a bad magazine and a bad reload that was not properly crimped.
ARs had heavy issues with jamming in the Vietnam war because they were incorrectly called self cleaning rifles. Soldiers would let them fill up with crap until they stopped working in a firefight, and that got soldiers killed. Shortly thereafter, the military started sending out cleaning kits and guides on how to properly maintain the weapon.

The AR, especially since it costs over a grand up here, seems like an expensive disappointment when you stop to think about what else you could have gotten for the same price and how much more fun/use you could have had with it. The AR can't be used for hunting up here, and it's only allowed a 5 round mag. It's expensive and it ain't all that fun, I could buy every Russian gun available on the market up here for the price of 1 AR (The Valmet M78/Hunter Auto AK clones, the only ones legal here, excluded, they're expensive and hard to find). While it may or may not be unreliable, I still feel it would be a disappointment buying one anyways.
You're always welcome to put a 30rd magazine through mine if you are ever in Denver :)

Funfact: It isn't the early Vietnam war anymore. A well maintained AR is JUST as reliable as an AK. Where the AK shines is in the fact that the tolerances it is built to are so low that it will fire after not having been adequately maintained for a very long time.
People who say they will fire clogged with mud or other obstructions are dumb and should be punished by having to fire a clogged AK.
Edit:
Wow, massively ninja'ed

I went to get a sign off on an SBR from him a couple years ago. He said I seem like a nice guy, he knows they are legal, but he doesn't want to sign the paperwork for em. Suppressors are different, so maybe I'll try again...
Damn, they're banned by federal order up here. Makes on sense, considering you can apparently get them in Britain, hell I've heard some ranges there require them due to noise laws, and yet they're banned here.

Most European countries are pretty cool with suppressors, because it is seen as polite, and protects the hearing of everybody else nearby.
They are hard to get in the US because poachers used them in the 1930s to kill and steal livestock.

Is this any good for the price? I hear century is kinda shit with quality.

They're likely banned here because guns aren't allowed to be bought for self-defence, and the Liberals likely saw the only reason to have a silencer was to kill people without being heard.

I wouldn't buy a Century gun before I could hold it in my hands and check it. Especially with weapons like that, which require proper fitment down to millimeters to function properly and safely.

In Norway, threading barrels for silencers is the new thing within the gunmarket.
It's unregulated(1) and easy to do quickly.
(1) Fucking new laws for pistols and silencers.
We aren't even allowed night-vision scopes.

I have to take my license application to police station someday, I really hope they are in a good mood there.
I'm trying to get a license to use my friend's .22 Marlin. That kind is the easiest one to get, and I will be more likely get other applications trough if I have a single license already.

You gotta get one here to own a .22. Funny thing is, you can get a .557 Snider or a Colt 1851 Navy up here with no license, but not a .22. Classified as "antique," and antiques don't need licenses. If anything, you should NEED to take a course in the proper handling, care and maintenance of antiques to preserve them properly. They're pieces of a bygone era, misuse or poor maintenance of them resulting in destruction of the firearm should be a damn crime. It's a terrible thing when an old gun is destroyed, because you lose a piece of history, and especially around here you lose a piece of distinctly American history.

I don't think there is an appropriate WHY image to sum up my reaction to that. I just hope that's a new manufacture clone and not a butchery of the original Nagant 1895. I've also always thought revolving action rifles looked quite odd, it just doesn't seem to "fit" on the longer platform in terms of aesthetics, IMO.

I've actually seen one that pulls it off pretty well, but I don't think I remember the name of it.
It's by Izhmashishsihs, so it'll be expensive as hell.
Might as well buy a Nagant Revolver and/or Taurus Circuit Judge for the price it will be.

Or rather a Nagant revolver and actually getting ammo for it.
Thanks to laws that should be in the gay chat thread (Its a joke, im no homophobe) guns here in canada are fucking impossible to get. Not possible to ship. Even airsoft guns. Its fucking retarded.
Remember kids, its ok to play with matches as long as you get them from your friends, and not those guys who sell them for cheaper and have a wider selection; because that would be terrorism.
All I ask for is for a full metal beretta for under 250$

So guys, Para-USA is moving their headquarters to about 30 minutes from where I live in Pineville NC, I have an interview there tomorrow. I am so fucking excited.
