UTG is crap. They make stuff for airsofters.
No dude. This isn't optics. Metal is metal.
Metal is metal.
Not really, there are many different kinds of metal; poor design is poor design. Not to say it's bad (I don't like railed AKs anyway) however UTG isn't a higher end brand, I tend to try and trust whats best for my firearm...
UTG is nice for airsofting but I would never use my UTG stuff on a real gun.

After looking at your ban history, I'm just going to say your joking.
Just in case your not, UTG makes stuff for airsofters. There is a good chance it won't fit on your ak properly.
When I was conscripted, I never thought that I would be spending most of my time sorting out spent shells :c

M1 Carbine's are good plinkers.
SKS, 91/30, or something else (please state what)? I don't care if you suggest a long gun or a handgun. Try to keep it under $600.

Mini-14
I was just watching Hickok45's video on the Mini-14, looks pretty good. I'll consider it.
Oh, this poor, misunderstood Nagant.

And I got me some fun goodies at the gun show today.

Flechette, Rhodesian (birdshot over buckshot), dragon's breathe, grapeshot, .50BMG sabot
Sabot looks badass.
Never heard of the rhodesian before, but it looks like it packs quite a punch.
That's like the third or fourth time I've seen that video this week and it's still hilarious.

I shot one of those flechettes a while back, I was about 5 meters away and I hit every inch of the target. :v:
The 50BMG sabot shell looks like it would work best in a single shot shotgun/slug gun.
Yeah, it has to be hand loaded directly into the chamber. And the guy selling them was very adamant it had to be out of a cylindrical bore with no choke installed.
Wait, what is the grapeshot?
Grapeshot is pieces of lead ball held together with a chain or rope. Back in the days of naval battles with cannons, those would be used to shoot at and rip apart a ship's mast.

Half of that is banned here, you're one lucky son of a bitch.
The grapeshot sounds wicked, please post range shots when you actually use all of that!

I know a Norwegian that recommends it strongly.

It gets it's name from the Rhodesian Bush war during the 70's. They were often home made shot used for clearing foliage of enemies, quite brutal.

UTG re brands pot-metal junk for the most part. Hell, even airsofters try to stay away from it.
