This has nothing to do with 922r...it's a quad rail.
Some manufacturers Permanently attach U.S made parts.
:l
The point is, all AK top handguards twist off.
922R (1) Frames, receivers, receiver castings, forgings or stampings * (2) Barrels * (3) Barrel extensions (4) Mounting blocks (trunions) * (5) Muzzle attachments * (6) Bolts * (7) Bolt carriers * (8) Operating rods (9) Gas pistons * (10) Trigger housings (11) Triggers * (12) Hammers * (13) Sears (14) Disconnectors * (15) Buttstocks * (16) Pistol grips * (17) Forearms, handguards * (18) Magazine bodies * (19) Followers * (20) Floorplates * lol you're so wrong it's funny
Dude, the fucking UTG site says it's 922r compliant. Are you going to help, or continue talking shit?
Dude, the fucking UTG site says it's 922r compliant. You know other than all the other shit thats wrong with it.
Your not going to get help like that, Zastava probably permanently attached it so it still had a sporting purpose. I'm looking at it now, and it just feels stuck.
It's not permanently attached. I saw pics of the gas tube, there's nothing attaching it. I'm looking at it now, and it just feels stuck.
That's cool, try pouring acid down you're barrel.
That's cool, try pouring acid down you're barrel.
What?
It's not permanently attached. I saw pics of the gas tube, there's nothing attaching it. Man I envy you guys. Growing up surrounded by books about small arms made me what I am today yet weapon access is so bloody restricted here. :C
You even sure it's possible to get it off?
According to my friend it is.
According to my friend it is.
Your friend could be as smart as you.
Fuck it. I'm just going to get a new gas tube without furniture. All gas AK gas tubes fit all AK's right?
Do all bolts fit all rifles?
Do all magazines fit all rifles?
Fuck it. I'm just going to get a new gas tube without furniture. All gas AK gas tubes fit all AK's right?
From what I can find (there's surprisingly little information about how to do this, at least with the searches I've tried) there should be a button somewhere that you press to remove the top handguard. Unfortunately the site didn't bother to tell where exactly the button was.
Trying now. Thanks. [editline]22nd October 2011[/editline] Didn't do shit. The screwdriver just slips out.
Use a larger/smaller screwdriver.
What calibre is it?
No clue, I literally know nothing about it, and apparently neither does my dad.
Got it with 400 rounds from a friend for $300. Gas tube and front site aren't canted, no mag wobble. Shot plate sized groups at 70 meters.
Did you use any old eastern bloc mags during your trigger time? They're the ones that usually wobble... That said, I think you did pretty good for yourself. :) [editline]22nd October 2011[/editline]
Fuck it. I'm just going to get a new gas tube without furniture. Like Romanian, Hungarian, Polish AK's are compatible while Yugo's are in a league of their own. Something like that. I can't remember where on earth I read that, just try this:
From what I can find (there's surprisingly little information about how to do this, at least with the searches I've tried) there should be a button somewhere that you press to remove the top handguard.
Did you use any old eastern bloc mags during your trigger time? They're the ones that usually wobble...
Used 2 Tapco Mags and 2 Bulgarian 40 Rounders.
XM8 best gun all guns
XM8 is good if you like melting fish.
I like fish. Melting fish... not so much. Prefer them cooked not liquefied.

Nice collection, but I would more than likely take the pistol grip off the shotgun. I love them on the shoulder, the way the shotty-god intended :v:
Nice collection, but I would more than likely take the pistol grip off the shotgun. I love them on the shoulder, the way the shotty-god intended :v:
It is sooo comfortable though. And I still shoot it from the shoulder. The pistol grip just gives me a bit more lateral control.
When looking at M91/30s, what is the best year/manufacturer? Does it really matter?
When looking at M91/30s, what is the best year/manufacturer? Does it really matter?
Some people think hexagon receivers are better, but really they all work fine.
Some people think hexagon receivers are better, but really they all work fine.
Doesn't the hex just mean it was made before WWII?
