What websites online sell AK gas tubes?
Same site I showed you for the ammo shows links for ak rifle's and parts amongst other things.
Edit: They don't always show every part. Many of them but no gas tubes... KVar has them for 39.99. Otherwise google is a great source for information.

I just ordered one off of k-var.com. Let's hope it fits my Zastava. I was told that gas tubes are pretty much universal, so here's to hoping...
Last I checked they're still practicing the Assault Weapons ban (nothing above 10 rounds etc) and you have to jump through all kinds of crazy hoops get a handgun.
It seems that is not the case I apologize and stand corrected for making a stupid comment.

Nope. You have teleport it.

Not to my knowledge due to the fact I can go to Gander Mt or Herb Phillipsons and buy a factory stock AR-15 with a 30rd mag. Hell the last time I was at herbs they had an M16A1 for sale with a 30 rd mag. I have a few 50 rd mags for my ruger 10/22 also. And to own a handgun all I need is a pistol permit which equates to getting a background check and an approval from the county judge along with a few other minor things.

A gun ownership permit? In Maryland all we need is the background check, and you get copies of the FFL paperwork. You sure that's not what you mean?

What about cheap AK slings? I remember seeing one somewhere for like 5 bucks, but I can't find it. The cheapest I'm seeing is $20.

Why don't you just get the one from AIM Surplus posted on the last page or so? It was cheaper, plus it had more rounds, plus it's in one of those green cans instead of just loose in a cardboard box.

Yes in New York you need to have a permit for a handgun just like we need a license to own a dog.

Pain in the ass to send a scan or picture of your driver's license to them? There are some places here that require a faxed/emailed copy of your gun license to sell you ammo online, but just your license number for the gun. Then there's the fact that you need a license. Are you really going to let a minor inconvenience cost you cash and/or reliability in product quality?
Got a video of my buddy and I shooting my 870.

The buttstock mag pouch should be in friday or saturday.
Is it hard to find .30 carbine?
Is it hard to find .30 carbine?
No. Wal Mart even has it.

Is that a Plainfield or Universal or one of the MilSpec ones by Inland or Winchester or whoever? I was considering picking one up and the local shop here has a Plainfield and a Universal. Was wondering if it's a good buy at ~$350
So my brother decided to get some ammo for his SKS:

I just ordered a bunch yesterday. 500 rounds for my AK, and 300 for the Mosin.

Gotta love the bulk packs.
What if all the surplus Mosin Nagant and 7.62x54r were to be all gone in the next two years. what do you guys think the next big surplus rifle and ammo would be?

None. All of those with Nuggets would band together and kill the non-Nugget Holders. We would then learn to craft our own 7.62x54R and live in peace and harmony.

It won't likely happen.

Mine's a Plainfield. I traded for it with a ~$400 bolt gun, so as long as it's in decent shape, that's a good price. Mine came with 3 mags and some wear on the receiver and the bolt.

It didn't come 1400 rounds pre-loaded on 10-round clips from Czechoslovakia, each clip individually wrapped in plastic with a sticker from the Canadian Border Services Agency? Your brother, sir, has acquired inferior ammo.

Once the Canadian Rangers stop using the Lee-Enfield rifle, I hope for, and somewhat expect, surplus .303 to hit our markets. Aside from that, there's Chinese .308, 7.62x39, 7.62x54R, and 9mm surplus hitting Canada's markets, that and a lot of bulk packs of Winchester MFS ammo in a range of calibres.
Good God why does milsurp smell so damn good?

I'm sure you can buy it somewhere.
I'm sure you can buy it somewhere.
Surplus .303 is nonexistent, surprising considering it was used throughout the Commonwealth up until the '50s-ish, and that Canada still uses rifles with it. I guess it's either still in warehouses, got destroyed, or was sold a long time ago. In this case, since the Canadian Rangers still apparently use Lee-Enfields chambered in .303, I'm expecting that when they stop using them, hopefully sometime in the next few years, that we'll start to see some of Canada's military surplus .303 hit markets, likely mostly in Canada but some may, if this actually happens, hit the US too.
