Hold on, hold on.
What are you Brits trying to accomplish again? I think I have this right...
You are trying to prove that some jackass doesn't have as much snobbish power as he thinks he does?
So a horde of you spend thousands of dollars to get one song on top of another for a certain time of year, just for it to fall back to oblivion a few days later when everyone forgets about this and you realize, no one really gives a shit?
Wow, keep up the good work morons. You do realize you are just making the fat cats fatter by buying your shit from iTunes?
Simon Cowell probably has stocks in iTunes.
lol butthurt much?
"butthurt" ? No, you are just trying to find a way to insult me, it's ok. :P
Then for the love of God, buy it off play.com or amazon or one of the other five billion websites you can get music off
I already have it... Why would I waste money by buying it again?
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=198389882884 would have been a better choice lol

That's a fair point. I wouldn't contest that if you already had it, you wouldn't buy it again...
...unless you were really sick and tired of the X Factor winning performance being at No.1 at christmas.

Our choice has been made. I would have preferred that Journey song, to be honest, but we've got to consolidate our efforts now.

I don't see why anyone gives a shit about the charts, they don't make a song better or worse, they are just sales. I could see buying a song for this if it were a parody, or a funny play on the chart like, the pokemon theme song to the top or something. This is just stupid and accomplishes nothing.

If we win, we will have done something the likes of which have never been seen.
Seeing RATM on TV on christmas day will be enough accomplishment for me.
We're already in national papers, for chrissakes. How much more exposure can you get?
Still dont see how that matters.
It's going to be played on TV? Big deal, 90% of you won't even watch it.
End of the day, you have achieved nothing. End of story.

We're in national newspapers. We've made Simon Cowell get annoyed. That's enough for me.
Go away then, if you think we've achieved nothing. You don't even live in the UK, this doesn't affect you in the slightest.
We should have done Banana Phone instead.
avatar fits so nicely
Why do people care about the charts anyway?
I just ignore everything about xfactor, it's utter shit and I don't care.
I will probably never hear the winning song anyway, I don't think I ever heard last year's
Fuck yes. If Rage Against The Machine get number 1, I'll go fucking insane. Finally we would a good song at the top spot and not some shit like Leona Lewis or some other X Factor fag.
haha, RATM, <3 them.
would be amazed to see them at the top of the charts, it's probably been a while.
I already got all of their albums so I'm no help.
Does it matter? On Amazon it's £0.30 for the one song, takes a few seconds to download.
Woo! I am now supporting RATM with my new avatar!

I don't live in the uk
I only joined this campaign as I'd love Rage Against the Machine to get some more time in the spot light and I want them to tour Britain! If they were at Download 2010 I'd just... I don't even know.
P.S.
Simon Cowell has two Bugatti Veyrons and enough money for a fair few more. Shit bag.

I'd buy it now if I had 30p I could use online. It will have to wait until the weekend.

Uhh, didn't someone say Amazon doesn't count towards the charts?
I think the deadline is Sunday, just fyi
Well, shit. Anyone willing to send me 30p through paypal so I can buy it? I would add money myself but all mine is tied to the real world.
I dunno, I like Rage against the Machine as much as the next bloke, but I cant help but wish it was a better artist/song
This will be extra hilarious since BBC is bringing back Top of the Pops for a Christmas special.
Uhh, didn't someone say Amazon doesn't count towards the charts?
I think it's the 30p version that doesn't count. I've heard that it needs to be 32p (or was it 40p) to count in the charts. Amazon do have another version for 79p though.

The 30p version does count, because it cost more than 40p for amazon to buy it or something.
I'm pretty sure the facebook group guys asked amazon and they say it does count.
I'm an aussie so what happens if I buy the single?
