Let's sing songs about the evils of consumerism!

I would but I like the Jcallan band as much as I like RATM.
The Jcallan tribute band are oddly good however.
They're a better us than we are.
That was actually the name of our first album.
Aye I wasn't sold on the whole paraplegic nun string section on track 4, seemed out of tune.
We based the whole album around the concept of
"What if a dog were to play the piano?"
Does anyone know what the last decent christmas no1 was?
Once, long ago, the charts meant something.
I think the xfactory dipshit should get the no1. The RATM song is only getting up there because people are trying to do it. At least the people buying his song are doing it because they are stupid and don't know what real music is. It was heading for number 1 (probably going to get number 2) because it is popular. Isn't that what the charts represent? popularity?
Does this mean that RATM are now pop?

Don't worry they will fade back into obscurity once this is all over.
Just bought a copy. FUCK YOU SIMON.

We're trying to make a point.
A point which you have completely missed.

Complaint letter about RATM swearing on Radio 5
Sue and Dave You, like this violence advocating, foul mouthed and quite frankly hateful band perfectly sum up all that is wrong with this country nowadays. How many youths, influenced by this morning's disgraceful behaviour (and oh yes, I have complained to the BBC too) would have gone out and committed a violent crime. I would estimate that the figure would be in the HUNDREDS and it wouldn't surprise me if either of you two were involved in some criminal activity either. Joe is who the youths of today need as a role model, not some uneducated, loud, offensive 'singers' from the US of A. I dont usually care for 'popular music' but I really hope Joe gets to Number One to show everyone that the British public will not stand for rudeness, hurtful and upsetting language or violence. - Simon Walsh, Surrey, 17/12/2009 15:35
Oh, I've seen that.
It's like Ebeneezer Scrooge fucked a thesaurus and the pretentious offspring wrote an article for the Daily Telegraph.

Just thought i'd put this here, didn't see it yet here.
Forward it towards the end to hear the swearing then the reaction from the presenters.
Haha, that's awesome.
Bought it, not a huge fan but they're much better than x-factor stuff.
Also, Cowell annoys me.
Cowell's claim that a RATM No 1 would "spoil" it for the other contestants betrays a certain arrogance, as if the Christmas top slot is now reserved for his acts alone and that any other artist actually selling more records is cheating.
Apparently RATM will also donate some royalties to campaigns to encourage youth music, and to the homeless charity SHELTER. Cowell will never do that.
