I've read that comic before. I've never seen such ridiculous Apple fanboyism, even on Gizmodo or Macrumors.
The comic sucks, BTW. The only way to enjoy it is to laugh at the bad art, the bad jokes and the stupid Mac bias on basically everything. It's regularly worse than Loss, just less surprising because it's always that bad.

I have a little pad I can put my phone on to charge it but it's much slower than using a cable

I think wireless charging will come into it's own if wearable tech becomes more popular. It would be easier to put multiple devices onto a pad and charge them overnight than have to plug a bunch of shit in.
