SG-1 in my opinion. Old BSG is too absurd, and new BSG is too emo grimdark. If you like assholes and unnescessary violence, BSG is your best bet. If you want something more like Firefly, SG-1 actually displays a lot of parallels.

I thoroughly disagree. Firefly was excellent but SG-1 and Farscape were some of the best sci-fi shows ever.

Does no one else remember Farscape? Show got super fuckin' dark later on.
