Not to fast there buddy, there are uses of the race of Selkath in TCW and as well cut scene involving Darth Revan that was cut due to time. But don't forget Lucas called the shots on a lot of TCW episodes and basically anything that had to do with things like adding races from KOTOR or references obviously means it's canon.
