4x Applying science, particularly evolution, to inappropriate subjects
1x Anthropomorphizing something not usually anthropomorphized
2x Mocking the educational system
1x Mocking religion or philosophy
1x Mocking the elderly
1x Social commentary on modern culture using other culture
While your hypothesis is incorrect as stated, I think a lesser claim, that SMBC uses HTDOSOSSOPTFACI jokes at a higher level than other comics, can be proven. However, this will require additional studies to establish a baseline average for HTDOSOSSOPTFACI joke prevalency.
