The correct way to write dates :v:
dd-MMM-YYYY is the way it should be.
12-Jan-2015 should be the format.
I like MM/DD/YYYY.

It should be, but it obviously isn't the way it's written there since we're nowhere near either 1925 or 2025, but if we assume that one of the tens is year then it'd fit perfectly as the show was in its first season the November of 2010.
And either way MM-DD-YYYY is the superior format.

Why? It's irrational.
It's as stupid as if the time was written in [Hours]:[Seconds]:[Minutes]
I like Month-Day-Year because if someone asked me for the date, I would give it in that order.
eg. "It is currently January eleventh, 2015."

It follows the common way of saying it, "January 12th 2015" (admittedly that's in the English language, your mileage may vary if you don't primarily speak English). Also if we want to argue on the logic of ascending/descending order then YYYY-MM-DD makes the most sense since it lists them in descending order getting more precise as it goes, establishing the broader ranges first before the specifics (and is exactly what we do with shorter units of time such as hours, minutes, and seconds).

I thought it was just Americans who do it MM/DD/YYYY
Because DD/MM just makes more sense. Also sounds better.

oh christ he doesn't actually believe that, we all know that everyone except America does it right, stop whining and post pictures

Does it really matter that somebody drew a pony on a circuitboard? I'm sure that there is at least one fully naked woman on a circuitboard up there somewhere.
Just to finish the date/time debate off, there is an established standard damn it.

That overwhelming cyan (and green) colour seems to disagree, amrikii. :v:
(Almost everyone in the EU, including the british say "12th of January 2015" by the way)

According to some anons on /co/, that is precisely what happened [sp]minus the last part[/sp].

Actually what happened was that some 'journalist' decided to use the show's announcement as a pedestal to claim that animation was dead, that got a lot of attention directed both at the idiot himself and the show he was talking about, and then it just sort of took off from there.
And here, have another bad pun because this offtopic discussion has gone on way too long and Polandballs are the only semi-funny stuff I have in ready supply

Better drawn this time too.
wow guys lets debate about date formats because that's totally something that's going to get changed/updated in some places because a bunch of people on an internet forum had a discussion about it

Fuck yo localisation!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_8601
Standards bitches!
Look at that sweet-ass timezone field for proper local times!
Every time I'm asked to sign the date on a document, you better believe I'm gonna sign it like:
2015-01-11T05:07:40+00:00
How much clearer can you get?
