I went to a tournament with a turbofog dtn deck and everyone who lost to it was actually happy because it was completely new to that meta and it blew everyones minds.

Okay DtN is short for Door To Nothingness a card that can instawin you the game, but it has some heavy restrictions.
Magic has 5 colors, each land you play gives you 1 mana in it's color, you can play one land per turn *if* you have it in your hand.
Door to nothingness costs 5 to play, and 2 of each color to activate and win the game, it also can't be activated the same turn you cast it.
So basically it's an *incredibly* gimmicky, hard to use card, most matches in tournaments end before turn 10 so you're highly unlikely to get the mana you need to activate it.
Turbofog is the nickname for a type of deck that stalls using the spell fog, which prevents all damage for a turn, you use fog (and spells like it) to stall long enough to get enough mana, and win.
People tend to not like turbofog because it stalls games for a long time and is sometimes regarded as unfair (though having played a deck with it, it has some massive weaknesses and it's definitely not broken)
tl;dr I used a really gimmicky strategy to win and people thought it was cool, the gif is basically someone responding to getting killed by the door and being mad.

Yes it's fake. But so are most TV shows and movies. It's not supposed to be real, it's supposed to entertain.

It's not about who wins or loses. At first I thought it was completely stupid and dumb and wondered how Americans could believe it isn't staged. But now I realise; the entire point is to be over the top and hammy. All of the wrestlers are some sort of persona and they all craft unique stories and rivalries.
Think of it more as LARPing than actual sports.
