I used to have an old CRT TV that I plugged my laptop into, and then I paired all my wiimotes to the laptop, plugged Classic Controllers into them, and played emulated Mario Kart 64 with my friends.
Was good shit.

Well, not to be that guy, but I'm fairly sure most emulators allow for local (and sometimes even online) multiplayer if the system you emulate supported it. So, you know, you could just connect your pc to a tv, get a couple of controllers, and presto. Mario Party, fun party!
