Who really cares? Every gen is going to be remade eventually. I honestly stopped caring about Pokemon at Pearl/Diamond. It's the same thing every time. I've heard the new few games are different but it just looks like the core gameplay hasn't changed.

I hated Gen 4.
And will admit it.
Gen 4 was boring and added nothing.
Though Im not big for pokemon to begin with.
I liked every gen I've played so far (1-4), but 4 was the least memorable for me

Pearl is exactly where I got to the point of, "I don't actually want to do this anymore," about 12 hours in. Haven't bothered since.
