Naw, Naruto just had cool character designs, the story was pretty bad. And didn't they make lightning super effective against ground just as a plot device for Sasuke to beat Deidara? Like who even does that

Maybe I'm wrong, I haven't really seen anything naruto related since I was like 14, but I distinctly remember the guy who smokes a lot telling naruto that there was a bunch of different elements associated with their abilities and on the thing he showed naruto electricity beat ground or some shit. And besides his explosives were basically just clay with explosive jutsu in them or something, I wouldn't see why electricity would effect them like that

I wouldn't know. I didn't even get 10 episodes into Naruto. I said fuck it after the flashback about the recap of the flashback of six seconds of fighting that, not counting the multiple recaps/flashbacks, just happened.
