Kingdom Hearts in general is a terrible example but that one image he used seems pretty decent. I can't see any of the typical gratuitous zippers other than the ones on his shoes and the silliest thing on him is probably the bright yellow straps.
I'd like to know the though process behind some JRPG designers and what the hell they were thinking when making these things.
