[I]What I heard from the vendor in question (keep in mind that not only is this still hearsay even so, and also this was in 2006 so my memory may not be perfect)…
Some dingus got caught trying to steal in the dealer hall at Fanime 06. They took and revoked his badge and told him to leave. He immediately went to report his badge as LOST and got it reissued before the revocation was in the system, changed his costume into the Sasuke costume we know and love, and went back to the dealer hall….. WHERE HE TRIED STEALING FROM THE SAME VENDOR WHOSE BOOTH HE WAS CAUGHT AT BEFORE. If at first you don’t succeed…..
Since it was his second time getting caught for shoplifting in the same day, the police were called and he was arrested.
