Oh no the camera is at a different angle that must mean it's deliberately designed to mislead people about the game's graphical fidelity

The screenshot in question is exactly the fucking same as any screenshot you could take during the "highlights reel".

A bullshot is when a developer takes a precisely timed, cherrypicked screenshot for the purpose of advertising instead of it just being a screenshot to capture a moment, preferably done when it has loads of action, people in it to show how bustling and good looking their game is. Can you honestly not see the appeal between the screenshots posted earlier? The first two are boring, have nothing going on in them, they're extremely static. The MK8 one is dynamic, vibrant, showing off the effects and the other racers and their karts.
