Being president ages a lot of people due to the amount of work and stress it has as well as the time needed to put into it. In Lincolns case, he had to deal with a bloody civil war, the bloodies in American history, which of course put mounds of pressure on him, causing him to age faster and look like crap.
Sucks really.
