the whole nice guy thing makes me feel weird. Because I try to be nice when I'm around people. Not act nice for malicious reasons but just be nice because that's how I like being. The basic difference is that a genuinely nice person will act that way as part of their personality without really expecting any reciprocation.
A "nice guy" is someone who...well, they're not 'faking it' really, but they have the false idea that because they're nice or that they did a nice thing that they're somehow owed something in return. The example that a lot of internet comics and posters use is the stereotypical socially awkward person who complains about not getting laid in return for being a "nice guy."
Bit of a simplification, but I think that's the gist of it.

you used to be able to use browser plugins/scripts to heavily increase the chance of a get. i used to constantly do "if dubs/trips then x" posts with them and it'd work 7/10 times.
moot put a stop to it though with some weird backend shit, and plus higher volume of posts makes it harder too.
