Bidoofs are super low level and easy to catch, masterballs are rare and expensive, they used a masterball on a Bidoof.

Dude wasted a Master Ball (unless they've changed it since the last gen I played, you only get one per game) on a Bidoof (which is one of the more common, worthless pokemon in the game).

Best comic I ever read. I recommend it. Go read it, it's not even that long. (directed at everyone)
The comic is similiar to the comics of Hiimdaisy, you know, the author of those great MGS and Persona comics.
The game is extremely fun too, especially co-op. (also great music)
Movie must've made the original author pissed though. Was way too short to contain the plot, so instead they just completely changed/ruined it. Also, unfit actors.

I strongly disagree with what you said about the movie, Bryan Lee O'malley was directly involved in the making of the movie and many of the changes made to it relating to the source material came from him.
It's just that it would be impossible to fit all of the plot into 2 hours, there's also the fact that the last volume wasn't even out yet when the movie was being made.

My avatar is the logo of the band the main character plays in on the story, it's basically a mix of a bob-omb and the serious sam logo, so it's kind of expected for me to praise the comics so much given that even my avatar is related to it.
