On a related topic: There's a drug (at least two as a matter of fact, cant remember the name, though) that suppose to cure Parkinson. One of it's side effects is that you may feel overwhelming urge to spend money on shit you don't need, fuck everyone you see or gamble like an addict.
I've recently read a story about a woman, who suffered from some sort of leg twitches. She was diagnosed with Parkinson (didn't actually had it) and prescribed with those drugs. She lost all of her money, her house, car and company because she constantly bought shit over the Internet.
