No, with rare exceptions they just trust us to look left and see if we're OK to go on red.

They trust drivers to asses incoming traffic? That's a mighty big dose of wishful thinking right there
No, with rare exceptions they just trust us to look left and see if we're OK to go on red.
Well, to be honest those green arrows don't guarantee nobody is coming from the left, and - even more important - that pedestrians aren't crossing the street. You have to yield and be very careful, so that light is just a gentle hint.

Hold the fucking phone. This whole 'right on red' thing is because you don't have green arrows on your traffic lights?
They're on pretty much every set of traffic lights on a two lane road in Melbourne.

I can't take this movie seriously because the "humans use 10% of their brain" is a myth and has been confirmed false by hundreds of thousands of scientists, anyone with google who uses at least 1% of their brain can just figure it out. it just seems like they pulled the entire premise of the movie out of their ass
all that consciously using 100% of your brain would do is make it so that you have to manually breath, digest, beat your heart, send signals to your nervous system, filter out toxins in your body, and all the other bullshit that your body just does automatically. You would not be able to fucking freeze time or get super mind control powers, that's just stupid.

We do on some lights but the road authority trust us enough to not need them on every junction, particularly in areas with less traffic.

lol if it was all by actual logic. Hawkeye would have only killed like 20 baddies and miss several times. Same with the impact of Black Window jumping on that grunts rider would have hurt her a lot.
