This reminds me of something I did in downtown Chicago while on a bike ride. I was waiting outside for my pop to come out of a McDonalds Bathroom, a garbage truck drove by and a guy came out to clear the bins I was next to. At the spur of the moment, I decided to tell the guy "You're doing a good job". He said thanks and smiled, and that was that.
I would never just give a paper to him to do that :v:

His coworkers were unappreciative, his family did not support him emotionally, and his girlfriend broke up with him, saying that the relationship was never going anywhere and that she actually hated him. But the compliment gave him the strength to tough it out at least until he got his next paycheck so he could buy a proper, respectable noose instead of the garden hose he might have had to use.
