I was wondering about my first post on the forums. Does anyone know a way to find it?
Go to search. Tick the "post" box. Put in your exact username. In additional options you want. "A year ago" and "older" "Date" "in ascending order" Done.

Doesn't seem to work for me, only goes back to 2012. However, I probably only had shitposts back in 2007
Looks like mine only go back to 2012 as well, I guess older posts were deleted or something?
There have been massive purges over the years. Most of the forums was moved into an archive at one point (maybe 2009 or so), but then the archives themselves were lost.

My first post was glorious. I posted something fearing I'd get banned and then DainBramageStudios called me autistic and got banned instead. Haven't been banned for two years until just recently. I feel like that's a pretty good record.
I don't even want to imagine my first post. Going to my last recorded post is cringey enough, and that was in 2013.
really really REALLY glad my first post isn't viewable anymore. i was an awkward seventh grader who had a crush on a girl and the thread was made in love advice SO yea

There were also a hideous 'on a scale from one to five' rating system in the very early days of Facepunch. They were eventually superseded by the rating system, which disappeared for a year or two before finally returning in the present fashion.
Be warned: All your posts since the last forum wipe (in 2009) are still visible. However, posts older than three years do not show up in search. [editline]8th March 2015[/editline] Furthermore, searches for threads show results older than three years, and it's very easy to find all the posts you make in a given thread. If you joined after 2009 to ask for help or to advertise, then it'll weigh upon your account forever.
For some reason it only shows threads for me. Probably doing something dumb.
At the bottom, it says 'Show Results as: Threads'. Change it to posts.

I was banned for my first post. At this point, you're better off without remembering it.

Mine were mostly retarded However the Smartness system quickly amended that. I strongly believe it should be brought back, and utilized on all VBulletin boards.
My first post was a bad concept I made in FireAlpaca that I posted into TF2Emporium. I thought it was going to be shat all over, but it was generally well-accepted.
You can find a few random old posts by googling: "site:facepunch.com username" (without the quotes)
Don't be afraid of women, they are people just like you or me. I used to be really shy and never talked to any girl for fear of being made fun of and then I learned this from a psychologist that I saw due to my social anxiety. It really helped being told this simple thing.
What was wrong with me. HAHAHAHAHA I remeber those days when I was retarded- oh wait...
My first posts consisted of both dumb brony shit and requesting maps that nobody in the right mind would do without cash. Then I went into lurk mode for almost two years. It's best I don't ever look at them again.
I think I made my account, posted nothing and went back to saying dumb shit and banning people in the #gmod IRC channel.
http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=915422 Got banned, no shit.
I remember making this account just to say how much I loved the Stargate addon for Gmod. Then I posted a shitty, full bright map and got banned. Good times.
Got banned for warez, oh well :v:
Mine would have been deleted a long time ago but I remember getting permabanned for my VERY FIRST POST
