PETA is a bunch of cowards too afraid to spend time trying to solve problems. They sit there complaining how something is bad and wrong, but they don't suggest a way to solve the problem (or attempt to solve the problem).
I always wondered what they were made of
Usually I hate PETA but I have to SORT OF agree with the whole MOD bear thing. I feel bad for the cute bears
Even after reading all of that you still think that they have no significance?
:geno:...
They hold no significance, the history which they could be said as having holds nil value to anything, while the economic use to Canada is problem negligible.
You're only a troll if you're doing something to get a reaction, and not if you're legitimately stupid.
So you just proved my point.
Usually I hate PETA but I have to SORT OF agree with the whole MOD bear thing. I feel bad for the cute bears
What you seem to fail to realise is that these bears are not killed for their fur, they're killed because they are pests and a danger that needs culling. Whether or not the Hats were made out of bearskin, the same bears would still have been culled.
So I say keep them, afterall it's only decency and respect to actually make use of something that has been killed rather than let its corpse rot.
it's more of a waste of bullets if the funny men stop using bear skin for their hats, seeing as the bears are still going to get shot for other reasons.
less bang for your buckshot.
Simple.
make the british army kill peta
everyone wins!
Yeah, because their videos about slaughterhouses are totally fake and none of that ever happens. Yep, all made up.
Yeah, because it's not like they scour the world till they find a few extreme cases and then plaster it all over everything, trying to make the public believe that that's how it works everywhere.
They're stupid hats anyway. They make you look like you have a cat on your head.
I'd rather wear cotton than fur.
I'd rather wear cotton than fur.
That's cruelty to plants that is, they're living beings too!
PETA are terrible. Blamming bearskins caps releasing zombie rage chimps.
They actualy protested about call of duty world at war attack dogs. No crap. http://blog.peta.org/archives/2009/03/call_of_dutys_v.php That really pisses me off.
lol @ id rather go naked than wear fur.
if peta existed like 1000 years ago then they'd all be dead
we need to wear fur to stay warm

Just replace them with Peta-member skin caps, so no intelligent animal has to be killed.
Just replace them with Peta-member skin caps, so no intelligent animal has to be killed.
that's a horrible idea
you should be killed then have had sex with
That's cruelty to plants that is, they're living beings too!
Touche.
In order for PETA to stop animal cruelty, they must stop animals themselves.

There's no way to stop it, and treating animals humanely just means that we give them a cookie before we kill em, they all still end up dead and in our dinner. They should just stop the propaganda lies and tactics.
They're stupid hats anyway. They make you look like you have a cat on your head.
lol lets make fun of britain.
As long as you do it humanely and not to extinction you guys have my permission to kill anything you see.
They look like silly afros anyways. If anything, people just like them because they have a history behind them correlating with britain or whatever. I doubt anyone would think so highly of them if bear skin caps were created just yesterday.

That's the point, they are still used because it has something of a large history and significance within the British Army.
Fuck animals.
I also think Bearskin Caps are necessary. The history behind the bearskin cap is immense. It has also become an icon. Whenever someone thinks anything about England, Bearskin Caps are probably one of the first things to be mentioned. Even the methods of acquiring the bearskin is completely humane (pest control, killed instantly, not bred in a cage, etc.).
PETA are just a bunch of butthurt animal activists that have forgotten what their real mission is and now hate anything that involve humans dominating animals.
really, it's only natural that animals kill other animals.
what's next? raising carnivorous animals to be vegans?

Better believe it, I know quite a few vegan PETA idiots who refuse to feed their dogs meat, and instead rely on plentiful vegetable servings. Needless to say, when their dog runs into health issues, and is underweight, and they finally take them to the vet, the vet tells them: Feed your dog meat dumbass.

You know some PETA members say that having pets is "inhumane" They should be released into the wild where they could get eaten by another animal or get run over by a car.
They also say that guide dogs for the blind is wrong.
I'd rather wear cotton than fur.
Well you're a dog so you kinda have to wear fur.
