Just ignore them, they don't have any real power anyway. They're pretty much real life trolls.
PETA is NOT going to go away if you ignore them. If nothing else the problem will get to the point of it being irreversible. Ignoring a problem isn't going to make it go away, especially with something that's more persistent than a swarm of angry deer fly.
I don't get how people can be animal activists when there's actual human beings being slaughtered.
There is an extremely deep history to the bearskin cap, even longer than the history of America as a nation. So, what exactly is a bearskin? The history of the bearskin cap in the British Army started after the Battle of Waterloo,
you do know the battle of waterloo was in 1815, you know that England came back to attack America in 1810-12 in New Orleans and burned washington, and this happened about 30 years after the signing of the DoI, so no it is not older than america
Why is it when I Google Images PETA I get sluts?
Google is trying to nudge you toward the more respectable sector.

You know the Bitch who currently heads PETA is going to do one last protest after she dies.......and its delicious She is going to have her accomplices cook her and attempt to feed her to passers by the only thing i can say to that is im going to be first in line (im thinking a nice 16oz steak from the torso) anyone else who wants to eat a human before they die should look this up. For real though that is on my "bucket list" if anyone else agrees with me send in your favorite cut of douchebag Hippie (a thigh cut may be nice to but a little tough)
I'm pretty sure cannibalism is illegal in pretty much all first-world countries.
There are workarounds.
I'm pretty sure cannibalism is illegal in pretty much all first-world countries.
not illegal just frowned upon and slightly illegal but she is pursueing this according to several sorces and apparently there are several loopholes but there is no law requireing you be burried or cremated hell if you can stuff grampa why not eat him
PETA is really starting to get on my nerves. I saw them throw red paint on a 5 year old for eating a hot dog. We need an intervention to happen, and we need it now. These idiots need to be taught a lesson. Oh by the way, I am a furry.
PETA is like the retarded man-child of the SPCA. It's people like this that give animal rights groups a bad name.
Didn't PETA murder 85% of the Animals you could adopt from them a couple months ago? I thought they lost all ability to be a troll after that. Ah, yes they killed off the "companion" animals you could adopt, which has been going on for a long time, but now they killed off too many. Found it. http://www.petakillsanimals.com/petasdirtysecret.cfm
That's fucked up man. I'm going to spread the news about this.
PETA is really starting to get on my nerves.
it would be hilarious if her meat went away in the first 30 minutes
They're going to chop her up and feed her to the poor.

Then post pics of it on Facepunch.

This is the fifth result from searching "Bearskin caps" on google.
For PETA in doesn't matter who you are but if you eat meat or even touch an animal they are worse then Hitler to you, although Hitler was a vegetarian so I gues they praise him. Anyway I remember they got pissed at Batman because in the movie he beats up a dog that attacks Batman. IN A FUCKING FILM. And Ted Nugent said he's gotten death threats for his kids because he rides a bull into concerts.
In my opinion, it has much meaning as a regiment's colour or the cavalry's standard/guidon. Doing away with it is doing away with the history of the regiment, such things should not be allowed to happen.
Why? In my opinion, we live too much in the past. The past is there to remind us of how to behave in the future, so as to refrain from repeating mistakes. That's the only thing I think we should look to the past for. We maintain useless traditions and hold on to useless sentimental/historical items for no reason other than "We did it for a couple hundred years." So what? The need for them is long past and they just look plain silly. Get rid of them. And while we're on the subject of useless things from the past, let's get rid of religion too.
Hey lets not celebrate your birthday anymore. Or mine. Or that homeless man's across the street.
Hey, I try not to. My wife forces me.
It commemorates and honours the lives lost fighting those battles. Which is exactly why battle honours are emblazoned on the colours, standards and guidons, it gives the regiment a sense of pride. The colour was a rallying point, many men in the past have given their lives to protect it. So getting rid of that would be disrespectful, methinks. Plus, I don't think the regiments who have protected the colours for so long will be too happy about it.
