When I was little, I always thought pokeballs used some sorta spatial distortion technology. The luxurity and size of the pokeball would depend the type of pokeball.
A pokeball would be like a small apartment.
A Masterball would be like a huge mansion with servants and stuff.
I made sense of a lot of stuf this way when I was little.
