My rap guide is actually better than his rap section. He's a backpacker honkey nerd who doesn't know shit about rap.
Well it is an electronic music guide. I don't think it's nearly as good as yours, I just think it's cool to play around with.
No mention of N.W.A.? Are you kidding me? Ice Cube's the man. And Sir Mix-a-Lot was pretty big in the late 80's/early 90's.
Mix a lot had one really popular song, and it was a joke song. And as you can see there's a song by Ice Cube AND Dr. Dre.

And as you can see there's a song by Ice Cube AND Dr. Dre.
Yeah Sir Mix-a-Lot only had a few goods hits, I was just mentioning him myself, but Dr. Dre and Ice Cube got their careers rolling because of that group. (I edited out my other response because I couldn't tell if you were being sarcastic or not, my apologies if you weren't and I just took it the wrong way, it's 1 in the morning and I'm grumpy.)
Everyday I sadly contemplate how big The Game could have been if he had won the feud.
I admit to liking Wiz Khalifa but fuck he needs new topics.
I know it's his trademark or whatever but his laugh annoys me so much.
Whats that song where they go bow wow wow yippee yo yippee yay
it cud also be snoop doggs verse in fuck wit dre day or the start of its on by eazy e
You forgot Mobb Deep under NY Hardcore, and I believe they have a pretty special spot for themselves reserved there, as well as under the East Coast section. Deep, dark, and simple beats combined with raw and real lyricism, doesn't get much better really. While most people refer to Biggie as the East Coasts counterpart to Pac, I think Pac and Mobb Deep were much more in a comparable class.
I put Nas, he's basically Mobb Deep but better.
Everyday I sadly contemplate how big The Game could have been if he had won the feud.
his shit got a lot better after he left aftermath, so maybe it was a good thing
T.I. is best rapper
I disagree, Soulja Boy is better.
I like TI
he is ok, but he is by no way the best rapper
I like TI
I have to admit, when this was released I loved it. :smugdog:

I haven't really paid attention. I haven't listened to many new mainstream rappers to be honest.
Yeah but then he went all sample crazy.
What is wrong with sampling? [editline]22nd June 2011[/editline]
I like TI
He's the artist that got me into rap.
What is wrong with samples?
Nothing when used right a la Lil B I just felt that T.I's songs were too dependent on samples.

You have to admit, that the way some of these people chop and slice samples, is amazing and is an art in its own right. But I understand and respect your opinion.
