Kinda curious for Brave myself. Could be good, can't be horrendous, can it?
Pixar has never made a bad movie. No, cars 2 doesn't exist.
The book that movie was based on is darker. In the book, [sp]Esmeralda dies and Quasimodo lays by her side until he dies.[/sp]
In the original little mermaid, when she ultimately fails her goal she is dissolved into foam and ceases to exist :v:
I was hoping Epic Mickey would of stuck to it's creepy steampunk style
In the original little mermaid, when she ultimately fails her goal she is dissolved into foam and ceases to exist :v:
I thought she became a fairy who would earn herself a soul after 300 years of observing earth's children. (Yes, it is pretty random.) But then, there are multiple versions of the story.
Wasn't Cars 2 produced by a Pixar spin-off studio, and not by the same people that did all the other Pixar films?
Haha, I decided to start watching all the Disney movies over again about a week ago, and now I find this thread. Aladdin is way more amazing than I remember. It has some of the best Disney songs, in my opinion. Plus there are a bunch of references and subtle stuff that I never noticed as a kid.

Mickey, Donald and Goofy as the Three Muskeeters was pretty freaking amazing for a straight-to-video movie. Its really really good, wish it got 30 more minutes and a theatrical release.
I've been going through the Disney films recently. I just watched Atlantis and Mulan. Atlantis is pretty much forgettable and Mulan is actually alright.

Funniest part was when they were [sp]in the windmill and Goofy jumped out of the window the second time[/sp]. Animation was top-notch, for a direct-to-video. Also, when Donald [sp]smashed the lute of the turtle[/sp], that part was hilarious. Whished the whole movie that someone would finally do that :v:

When he walks over to Goofy and puts his ear to his head, and hears a "this line is occupied" sound, I cracked up.
Yeah, the movie has lots of those moments. Pete is great, he's always mad for no goddamn reason, it's awesome.
I was watching The Hunchback Of Notre Dame recently, and that movie's still great.
Anyone else agree that the only reason to watch Princess and the Frog was for the villain, Dr. Facilier?
Anyone else agree that the only reason to watch Princess and the Frog was for the villain, Dr. Facilier?
Yeaaaah, no. I found all the characters interesting. And for the first time since Aladdin, I actually cared for the prince character. Plus, the animation was great, (some of) the songs were good and it was generally a good movie. Also, the only really bad thing about The Three Muskeeters was that this came out of nowhere. I know Disney always does "love at first sight", but I didn't expect [sp]Clarabelle to fall back in love with him.[/sp]
Check it out: http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=86666
Heard that this game will have cameos from multiple video game characters. If that is the truth, I'll explode with happiness. One question: 3D or 2D?
Most likely 3D.
Most likely 3D.
Don't really care. Just the story makes me interested, and those concept arts make me excited.
A FPS centered Disney movie could turn out rather interesting :v:
A FPS centered Disney movie could turn out rather interesting :v:
I wonder if there's gonna be any Half-Life references. Found this out from Wikipedia:
In a manner similar to Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, Wreck-It Ralph will feature cameo appearances by a number of licensed video game characters. For example, one planned scene shows Ralph attending a support group for the arcade's various villain characters, including a ghost from Pac-Man and Coily, the snake from Q-Bert
More from the article:
as well as an ax-wielding zombie from countless first-person shooting game

Jane Lynch as Sgt. Calhoun, the heavily armored sci-fi hero of a Halo-type shooting game called Hero’s Bounty

ohn C. Reilly voices the title character, who is a kind of human version of Donkey Kong — a burly, flame-haired villain of a game called Fix-It Felix Jr. Remember the old Rampage arcade game, where big monsters climbed up and down buildings, picking and punching off chunks to make them crumble? That’s what Wreck-It Ralph does, while the cheerful Mario-esque Felix (voiced by 30 Rock’s Jack McBrayer) is the character the players use to repair all the damage.

Video game characters in the arcade can jump into each other’s machines via the electrical plugs, which eventually leads Wreck-It Ralph to Sugar Rush, a kind of Mario Kart racing game set in a dessert and candy world. Sarah Silverman voices a character from that game: Vanellope (rhymes with Penelope) von Schweetz.
Concept sounds awesome. It would be awesome if the game scenes would be 3D and the "real-life" scenes in 2D. Would make for some interesting visuals. Also, fucking put Mario and Link somewhere in there :v:
I've been going through the Disney films recently. I just watched Atlantis and Mulan. Atlantis is pretty much forgettable and Mulan is actually alright.
Atlantis is great!
So I found this today Also, Wreck-It Ralph is apparently 3D. Though Ralph is a 8bit character so...
Disney related.
Found this today in the Videos section
Just watched Fantasia and Fantasia 2000. A lot of the stuff between the music/animated segments in Fantasia 2000 is not good, but all of the music/animated segments are actually OK, but it was never going to live up to the first one. [editline]11th February 2012[/editline]
Atlantis is great!
An extra half an hour to flesh it out, it could have gone from great to awesome.
