So what's so great about Arizona, one might ask? Well, about some of this: That's right motherfuckers, the Grand Canyon, biggest crack on the face of the planet Or some of THIS: Sedona, Arizona. Aw yeah, look at all that sexy wilderness. Or maybe this right he-oh god what the fuck is that Oh Jesus not the face everything here is trying to kill me oh god Alright, so now that you're familiar with the fact that everything in Arizona/SW USA is trying to kill you, let's talk about the actual state! This is our state capital, Phoenix: This is where all of our wonderful (assbackwards) politicians convene to introduce groundbreaking (bigoted) legislation that is meant to improve (make miserable) the lives of all Arizonans! Jan Brewer, our wonderful Governor, meets here with her piers to determine what part of Arizona life she's going to fuck up next. We also have three main cities, filled with love, beauty, and all around comfort, such as PHOENIX! Jesus Christ why is it 123 degrees and where's that Mexican music coming from does that guy have a knife? Tucson! Holy shit I think I just heard gunsho-why the fuck is that guy wearing a Victorian dress and an umbrella? And Flagstaff! Oh man those mountains are prett- hey why is that Navajo guy glaring at me? I think he's drunk Ahhhh yes, I'm sure you can all feel the charm of Arizona wafting about in the air, enchanting you and making you want to move here! That or it's just the smell of roadkill rotting in the 100+ degree heat (that 37+C for you Euro-heads). Anyways, tell us why you like or despise Arizona! Also, Southwesterners are more than welcome if you're from Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Nevada or California (Wyoming doesn't count, fuck off) OH! I completely forgot, did I mention that Arizona is mere seconds away from the lovely nation of Mexico? I love living in that ONE part of Arizona that gets decent weather. Terrible people, though. -safety snip-
I'm stuck down in Yuma. Can't go outside. It's 102. :v:
Peoria here. I actually like Arizona. I never have a problem with Mexican gangsters. Just me?
SoCal here... what the hell is that spider thing? is it actually a spider? jesus christ i've never seen anything like that here
Peoria here. I actually like Arizona. I never have a problem with Mexican gangsters. Just me?
Probably because you live in a suburb up north and not in the inner city like a few of us.
I was born in Tucson, Arizona, but my parents moved all over the place so never grew up there. I would go there occasionally to visit family but that's about it. I kind of miss my homeland, it's like the Australia of the U.S. :( but i dont miss the fucking heat jesus christmas was it awful
Phoenix/Glendale Resident here. I thoroughly enjoy my slice of Arizona and consider it quite nice compared to other places
Looking forward to Phoenix Comic Con, going to be cosplaying god tier Jade and Rose from Homestuck[/]. SEE YOU THERE FUCKERS. Anyways, I moved to this shit hole we call a state when I was 12 and I've been here for 7 years. My biggest complaint is the heat and the ridiculous amount of conservatives. I will probably never move, even when I'm living on my own because I have no ambition.
why is it the only time anything interesting happens in arizona its a shooting or terrible legislation i want out of this place at least the food is good go eat Z's Greek on indian school it rules
Is it true that half the population of Arizona are Canadians on vacation?
@Chocolate: Snowbirds. People usually come to Arizona during the winter-months because it's fucking beautiful and amazing at that time. You wake up in the morning, and walk outside in a T-shirt, and look up at the local hills/mountains and see a beautiful blanket of snow on top of it. 40-60F Winters... Only the weeks near Christmas get anywhere remotely cold. Ewit! You forgot the most important creature of all! If this bites you... Well lets just say have fun being cold and dead. Ever since I've moved here I've had a gila monster come back to my apartment every June/July, and basically do nothing but hiss at my cats. Calling in the local fire department is a no-go, and the maintenance crews are usually a bunch of pussies who refuse to deal with it.

I'm going to phoenix comicon from Tucson but it's my first con and I don't really know what goes down at those things.
I love living in that ONE part of Arizona that gets decent weather. Terrible people, though. http://www.azcentral.com/news/articles/2010/06/04/20100604arizona-mural-sparks-racial-debate.html lmao
I see this almost every day and it's always funny
I'm going to phoenix comicon from Tucson but it's my first con and I don't really know what goes down at those things.
Basically you go to the phoenix convention center and theres a FUCKTON of people walking around in strange outfits, inside and outside. Theres large portions of inside the convention center that random cosplaying freaks like me walk around that isnt technically part of the convention, which is why I try to coax people into going even if they dont have the tickets, theres still a lot of shit that goes on outside of the convention. Inside its just a clusterfuck crowded mess of cosplayers getting their photos taken and a bunch of booths of anime porn comics with a FEW actual comics. And then theres booths where stan lee gives autographs and shit etc etc. Theres also a lot of events that go on, like Q&As and I think dances and all kinds of random ass shit. For me, I'm not into the whole "weabo anime kawaii desuuuu" stuff but I go to every single con including the weabo ones because I LOVE walking around in a ghillie suit and having it be socially acceptable. Plus I get tons of photos. Comicon is BIG. and when I mean big, I mean the entire giant fucking convention center gets so filled on Saturday that you have to push people out of your way to move ANYWHERE. tl;dr tons of cosplayers, come in a costume, its fun as hell I will be wearing this: http://www.ghilliesuitwarehouse.com/product_images/a/453/stealthsuit4pcbackgsw__00424_zoom.jpg So come look for me!
Looking forward to Phoenix Comic Con, going to be cosplaying god tier Jade and Rose from Homestuck[/]. SEE YOU THERE FUCKERS. So far its just me, funion, bound and antair (ban camp couldnt make it). What days are you guys going?
how much is tickets?
$40 for all 4 days if you buy online, $45 at the door. Theres individual pricing for each specific day but itsl ike $15-$25 and it would just be more fun to get the whole 4 days. [editline]18th May 2012[/editline]
Is it true that half the population of Arizona are Canadians on vacation?
If you're thinking snowbirds, they're mostly folks from Washington and typically are old people with their own houses up in Glendale and Sun City. Half of our population is Mexican. Thats a statistical fact.
