Food that Tasted Great as a Child, but Can't Stand Now (or Vice-Versa)

i used to love candy but now i get the tummy aches whenever that stuff comes near me
I used to love kalamari until I had some really undercooked rubbery shit at a Carrabba's or whatever the restaurant is
I used to like spaghetti... but then I had it once a week for several months. I could go the rest of my life without eating spaghetti, I'm so tired of it.
Pork Sausages, I still like beef, but I started hating pork ones after we started getting more high-end ones.
TURNS OUT that the pork sausages we used to get were about 50-60% pork. eugh
I used to hate eating this bowl of wanton noodle from this resturant, until for some reason I like it one day.
I got a really bad food poisoning a few years later after eating the noodle on the same day. Not just my but almost my entire family.
I've never ate there since.
Back when I was around 5 (God knows how I can remember this far back, considering how shite my memory usually is), I woke up one morning to find my mother making breakfast, as usual.
Just as breakfast was about to be served, I heard a high-pitched noise coming from the cooker, most likely from some steam leaking out.
For some strange reason my 5-year old self deduced that, much to his dismay, this high pitched "screech" had to have been originating from tiny little chicklets being boiled alive inside the eggs.
Safe to say I didn't eat boiled eggs for a while after that.
Strange thing is, I was still fine with eating fried or scrambled eggs :v:.
Well I love beer but when I was a baby I didn't like it.
Apple juice
I didn't mind it as a kid, but when I had to get an MRI I was forced to down a huge glass of apple juice mixed with that dye that tasted like batteries every hour until the scan
To this day most apple-based food disgusts me
Hated onions as a kid and I hate them just as much now.
I'd sooner eat out Betty White take one bite of an onion. There's no other food than I can think of that I hate more than onions, and I've had haggis.
I don't get a hatred of onions. It's one of the basics of cooking where it originates (europe) and adopted by pretty much any culture that has it introduced into their cooking. Literally the basis for all french cooking is 2 parts onion, one part celery, and one part carrot. Italy is two parts onion, one part garlic, and one part celery. Spain is two parts onion, one part garlic, and one part bell pepper. If you're ever making stews, sauces, slow cooking, or anything like that start with those ingredients and you can have any dish taste like it's from that country. It is quite literally the springboard of all cuisine in europe.
It's like saying that you hate wheat for all the contributions to cuisine it's made!

Ketchup
Used to fucking love hot dogs, then I outright refuse to eat them.
I hated broccoli and green beans. Now, they're better.

I used to hate brussels sprouts so much, but now they're among my top 5 foods.

One time as a kid I had eaten so many tootsie rolls I threw up, since then they've tasted beyond disgusting.
Hot dogs.
I had hot dogs so much as a child my taste for them all but dissipated. I can eat them, but pbbbbth I sure as hell don't have a jolly swell time doing so.
Cheeseburgers are vastly superior anyway.
Oh, and Tostino's Pizza Rolls. Got sick one time and now I refuse to partake of them anymore.

[sp]Not trying to be racist, pls don't ban me, it was too fitting![/sp]
I used to absolutely hate olives when I was a kid; now I like them on my subs and pizza. I also used to hate green beans, I think they're delicious now.
On the flip side I used to really like Pepsi when I was younger. I hate the stuff these days, too acidic.
