Behind my house, you can see Mexico.
If you turn the other way you see houses and the freeway; 3 miles east of where I'm standing is the international border crossing.
Don't have a picture but it looks like this

I've encountered a few already. They usually just past round the side of the house and glance into my room because my window is always wide open. They move along quickly after you motion for them to keep on moving.

The landmark for which the city is named. Also, the county name, Minnehaha, is (I think) Lakota for 'Laughing Water.'

Yep. Gotta take a shower every day after school because just walking from class to class gets me fucking filthy. This whole state is nothing but dirt. The only good parts are the mountains:
Actually in Ireland we do refer to areas, especially areas in the country as a parish.
Same here in Scotland, lots of the hills hereabouts and at the peripheries of the cairngorms/highlands have fences running along the tops which denote the boundaries of the various parishes. So his usage is not incorrect
It's not exactly where I live, but it's not far off.

I live in boring suburbs too :v:
If you take pictures of the most interesting parts, chances are that people will naturally assume that the entire location is just as interesting as what is shown in one photo. And hell, I am actually a bit envious of some of the other locations shown.
[editline]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wp5MDSI1PY[/editline]
Not to say I live in a bad place or anything, as I said earlier I live in a very pleasant location. It's just, well yeah, it's always nice to have some good scenery.
Wish I had my camera's adapter, although it's pretty plain where I live.
